Chapter 1:

(Third Person P.O.V.)

"Yeah,Yeah.." Harry responded with a wave of his hand dismissing the young intern. This was Harry Potter's life. After the war, Harry, Hermione, Ron and other fellow classmates returned to Hogwarts to complete their 7th year. It was fairly pleasant without a killer on the loose, and even to their pleasant surprise there weren't any taunts or bullying from Malfoy or any of the other Slytherins that came back. The trio automatically assumed it was because they saved the whole race of wizards from a psychopathic killer and that was their crude way of thanking them. After Harry saved Malfoy from the Fiendfyre they never spoke. Until Malfoy's trial arrived, Harry both defended Draco and Narcissa as innocent but Lucias guilty and was sentenced to his whole life in Azkaban. After trials, Harry handed Draco his wand, made small eye contact and left, never expecting to see each other ever again.....but boy, were they wrong. After their 7th year Harry became an Auror, Hermione a Ministry worker, and Ron an Auror as well. Ginny and Harry soon decided their "perfect love story" wasn't so perfect after all. Harry and Ginny both thought it was perfect until Harry found out Ginny would be leaving to tour with the HolyHead Harpies and wouldn't be home much. This was to Harry's relief. While dating Ginny, he found out he wasn't exactly straight. Obviously he didn't want to hurt Ginny, but he knew that if he told her the truth she'd understand, but Ron, Ron was a different story. So he stayed with Ginny to avoid losing both Ron and Ginny. Harry still loved Ginny, as a sister and he would be devastated to lose her that way as well. Ron was his best mate and Harry knew that if he "broke" his sister's heart, he'd freak. Soon, Ginny told him that'd she be leaving and they both decided that they couldn't manage a healthy relationship like that, let alone have kids..(much to Mrs. Weasley's disappointment) so they moved on. Since then Harry officially decided and accepted he was gay. Nobody knew for three reasons, 1. It'd be spread around the wizarding world faster than you could say straight and men would be running for a piece of the Chosen One straight or not. 2. Ron would think this is the reason why Ginny and him broke it off then lash out on Harry for once again "breaking" his little sister's heart. 3. Harry honestly didn't know how people in the wizarding respond to homosexuals and if they accepted them. So he just kept to himself never went out on dates, stayed in his flat travelling from flat to work, and occasionally a dinner with Ron and Hermione who were happily married. He wasn't particularly disappointed that his love-life didn't have any action but he's gotten used to it after 4 years. This soon changed.

(Third Person P.O.V.)
Malfoy took of his glasses and rubbed his eyes with the heel of his hands somewhat trying to relieve the redness and itchiness beneath them. This was Draco Malfoy's life. After the war, he returned to Hogwarts to complete his 7th year much like the others. It was rather uneventful since Crabbe and Goyle both were gone and Pansy soon found love with Blaise Zabini, he was alone. He and Pansy still had a brilliant brother-sister relationship but Pansy was often absent from his side busy with Zabini this year. He passed with flying colors and was soon assigned a position as an Auror. But it wasn't this easy. Draco, Narcissa, and Lucias were taken immediately to Azkaban after the war. Draco and Narcissa's stay wasn't very long until the Chosen One himself busted through and demanded there be a trial. Since he was the "Savior Of The Wizarding World" the members of Wingzamont reluctantly agreed to hold a trial. Potter pleaded the two Malfoys innocent but Lucias guilty. Then Potter gave him his wand and left quickly. "Fair enough" Draco thought. He never really liked his father. As a young boy his father was both mentally and physically cruel to Draco, so when he was put into custody Draco was very relived. He lived with his mother for awhile before moving out and buying his own flat. Since his father was no longer there, he couldn't force the young Malfoy to marry. Much to his relief. Draco found out he was gay towards the end of their 6th year but not one other soul knew other than himself and his mother. His mother wasn't particularly happy that she wouldn't be getting a spawn or a daughter-in-law but was thrilled for Draco knowing he could finally be happy. But Draco's love-life was non-existent. No one knew for if people did it'd be all over the papers " DEATH EATER GAY IN PUREBLOOD FAMILY" would most likely be the heading for the weekly Daily Prophet if he let slip his sexuality. So he kept to himself most of the time never went out on dates, travelling from work to flat, and occasionally a dinner with Pansy and Blaise who were happily married. He wasn't particularly disappointed that his love-life didn't have any action but he's gotten used to it after 4 years. This soon changed.
