Mommy said today was a special day. She said something about a birthday or something. I don't really know about that kind of stuff because I'm part dragon part wolf and so in 6 years of my life I get to have a party. I'm going to wear a polkadot blue dress with some black flat dress shoes. As I'm getting ready mommy and daddy are making some cake or whatever it's called. "Aubrey come on honey. Your foods going to be cold if you don't hurry up." Mommy said as I finished up my hair. I run down stairs to see my favorite food on the table. Calzone. My mouth starts to drool. I rush and start to eat. "Honey mommy and daddy got you a present." Daddy said. "What's a present?" I ask daddy. "It's something you give for someone you love. And we love you." Mommy said as she gave me a wrapped piece of box. I grab it and rip it open to see a necklace that says. 'You are the #1 best child' in side of a heart. I squeal at it and run to mommy and daddy and hug them. After I finished eating lunch it was time to eat cake and open more presents. The cake said 'Happy Birthday' with different color frosting.
After cake eating it was time for more presents until there was banging noise on the door. Daddy peeks out of the peep hole and said to mommy something I couldn't hear. Mommy picked me up and grabbed my stuff birdie and ran upstairs to my room. Vexy looks at us and seen what mommy was doing and climbed on my shoulder. Mommy grabbed a bag out of my closest and put my stuff birdie in it with something that looks like a fire work (gun) and stuffed it in there. "Y/n, baby you need to stay hear until I get back ok?" Mommy said and she went out of the room and down stairs. A little while latter she comes back up with food and water and put in my dark navy blue backpack. She said to put it on and jump or the window when she said 'jump'. I just nod and look at her and she looked at me with pleading eyes and so we hear a scream. It was daddy. Soon people that looked sick came in and ate mommy. Mommy said 'jump' and I do out the window and Vexy said go to the forest. I trust Vexy and run there.
After sometime of running, I trip over an egg and fall on face. I look at what I tripped over and found an egg. Its mostly orange with a black lines on it. It starts to hatch and I grab it and bring it with me.
As I'm walking I sit down to rest. It's been about 2 hours and what comes out is a baby dragon. It's a new born. It's a dark orange in the facial, and the body is black, with gray feathers, with brown eye brows to make it look mad. It's eyes are black with yellow. Around its eyes' are white. Its beck is black. It's chest was had a yellow/gold image of an owl. From under its chest, on its back, to its shoulder blade, is a yellow/gold color. In the middle of its back has a ring that's a yellow/gold color. It's behind feathers are a light black color. I don't even know if it's a boy or a girl. I pick it up and look around its private. Daddy taught me this when we got Vexy. He grabbed her and flipped her over. Yep, definitely a boy. "I'm going to call you....... Vanoss," I said. He starts to make sounds that seemed happy sounds. I smile.

~15 years latter~
Me, Vexy, and Vanoss are walking through the city of Calmaria, a city in Kansas, looking for food. You see 14 years ago I was an 6 year old girl that wanted to live a normal life but soon turns to this: me finding food with my gun that my mom gave me when this invasion broke out. I hear crying in a motel room with zombies surrounding it. I kill each and everyone of them, stealthy mode. Once all cleared up, me and my companions run up to the room to see a mom and dad with a gun like mine sitting next to them. There was a note on the gun and said:
If you are reading this, we have been bite, our son is in his room, locked so he can't get out. The key is above his door frame. Please, save him, and take good care of him. His name is Xavier he is 5 years old. His birthday is on May 21, 2027.
I search every room and the last door I search is locked. I knocked on his door and he asks "hello?" "Hey, can I come in?" I ask. "Y-Yeah, but I don't how to open it," he said. I laugh. I grab the key from the door frame. I unlock the door and open up. He had a green tee on, with yellow and black stripe basketball shorts. "Hey I'm hear to help. I'm not one of them." I said as I went to sit next to him. He had calm down when I hug him. I pick her up and look around the house. I come to the kitchen and find canned fruit, ravioli. I look at Xavier and ask "do you have a backpack you can carry?" He nods and went to grab it. Seems to be upstairs. I follow with him. He comes to his room and goes to his closet. I grab it from him and go pack up some clothes, blanket, coloring stuff, and "can I bring him?" asked Xavier while holding a stuffed dog. I nod and put it in his backpack. I zip it up and give it to him. He puts it on his back and we leave. Soon I hear a whole horde of zombies coming our way. I say to Vanoss to come here and picked up Xavier and start to run off out of the city or at lest to a house that's good enough to last a night.
After lefts and rights I find an apartment complex that's good enough to spend the night in. I try and find a bed. I found two in two separate rooms. "Xavier, what room do you want?" I ask him. He goes to the one on the left. I walk in to see him already sound asleep. I chuckle at how tired he must of been. I grab a blanket from his bag and put it over him. I grab my blanket and go to my room. I have Vanoss look after Xav. I grab a can of peas and eat. After done I throw it on the floor and lay down. Vexy went to the night stand and started to sleep. I laugh quietly and lay back down. I soon let slumber take over me. Now I'm in dreamland.
