At the age of 17 I was at a lost as what to do with my life. it wasn't like I sat around all day. quite the opposite to be honest. I spent the entire day learning something new and fascinating. I had already graduated college twice by the age of fifteen, once for medicine and once for engineering.in my spare time I have taken to learning martial arts, I would love to be able to class what I do to one style of fighting, but my sensei teaches pretty much all of them. the sad thing is I'm one of the smartest people on the planet, there are times I wished I wasn't one of the smartest people on the planet, it gets kinda lonely being at the top. sure my parents acted liked they cared but they really didn't understand. today was graduation day again for me. today would be the third time I graduated college in the last four years, this time I tried to pick harder courses but to no avail a eight year course only took me two years. this time I had gone for geology and metallurgy and chemistry.
my sensei said that all good things come to those that wait, but how long was long enough. "the time has come for you to find your destiny my young pupil" my sensei had told me after we had finished training . you must find your path and you must not falter. remember what I have taught you." after my sensei had told me that he gave me a pendant with a dragon on it and told me that it would help me in the future. I still don't understand what my sensei meant but I didn't miss the proud look in his eyes as I left the dojo and started to make my way home. my parents weren't exactly rich and they weren't poor, they were right at the precipice between the two. on the way home ran started pouring buckets out on every body that was out, me included. the neighbor hood we lived in had a substantial high crime rate and there was always something going on, but all the gangs seemed to leave me alone. it could be that the last time they tried to steal from me I broke about 30 arms and 29 1/2 legs. the last one only suffered a minor hair line crack so that one only counts as I half. the closer that I got to home the harder the rain came down and the stronger the winds got. if my house wasn't in eyesight already I would have tried to find shelter. I was just about to walk through the front door when a bolt of lighting hit the house causing an explosion, the impact sent me flying back about a yard from the house. right before I blacked out I thought today is the the day that Jule hunter dies
