Hi! This is a collaboration story that my friend and I made for our English class. Please don't steal or copy this. First of all, it's against the law. Second, we put all our sweat and blood in this kid, so please. And if ever those two reasons aren't enough, do listen to the small voice in your head you call conscience.
This is the second version of the story. It's longer and a bit more detailed, but if you guys want the first one, just message me. Oh, please do follow me on tumblr (sekithesuperhero.tumblr.com) and on twitter (ZACKarae) and my friend and I's blog (riarae.tumblr.com) Thanks!
On behalf of my super awesome friend, we hope that you'll enjoy the fruit of our crazy thinking. Cheers!
~Seki
P.S. This is unedited, I'll probably edit it after my other stories are done. :)
Oh. Do comment. It helps me improve my writing :)

“Boys, if you like her, if she makes you happy, and if you feel like you know her, don’t let her go.”- Nicholas Sparks
The first rays of the sun filtered through my messy room, waking me up. My alarm clock went off, and I sleepily pressed the snooze button. Remind me again why I set my alarm clock at eight a.m. on a Saturday morning?
My question was answered when the door of my bedroom burst open and my little six-year old brother, still in his pajamas, ran in and jumped on top of me, making me groan. He kept shaking me and poking me awake. He kept on telling me to get up because we were going somewhere. What was he talking about? Mom didn’t tell me anything. I told him to leave me alone and let me sleep, and miraculously, he went out of my room. That was new, but I should’ve known that it was all too good to be real. I suddenly felt my covers yanked away, and I immediately scrunched up my body because of the cold. My little brother went out of my room to get mom, who was now standing over me, her hands on her hips. I sat up groggily, running a hand through my curly hair. Mom raised her eyebrow and asked me if I was going to fulfill my promise to my little brother. At first I thought, what promise? Mom must’ve read my mind and reminded me that I promised my little bro that we’ll go to the carnival today.
Oh yeah. THAT promise. I quickly stood up and hugged my mom, thanking her for reminding me. She just laughed and messed up my hair. She told me to get ready and go down for breakfast.
Once mom left the room, I showered and dressed at top speed. I arranged all the things my little brother and I might need for the day. After packing, I went down to the kitchen and found my little brother grumpily eating the pancakes mom made, while dad was reading his newspaper. Mom was still flipping pancakes.
I greeted all of them and went to sit beside my little brother. I ruffled his hair and he scowled at me. I know that he’s irritated at me for forgetting my promise. He crossed his arms and huffed out. I sighed loudly and he looked at me. From the corner of my eye, I saw mom smiling. Dad was peering on top of the newspaper. I told my brother I was sorry for forgetting my promise. I told him that I was just too busy with schoolwork, now that our exams were coming up. The pressure just drove things out of my mind. He seemed mildly convinced, but I told him that I’ll make up for it today. This day will be all about brother bonding time, just me and him, in the carnival. He seemed happy about it. I told him to eat his breakfast as fast as he could and go straight upstairs to get ready so that we can go to the carnival earlier. As expected, my little brother did eat at top speed; the three of us just watched him, chuckling a bit. When my brother was done, he pulled on mom’s hand and urged her to go upstairs. I chuckled at my little brother and began to eat my breakfast, talking to my father about school and other things.
