Chapter 5

Chica pov: As I was stirring the badder for some sweets I could hear one by one everyone was waking up. I had figured that I could go to the market today with our new guests so I could try to make some new clothes or just to get a tailor to do it. I had already set up some food for breakfast on the counter, so now they won't call me out for making sweets before breakfast. As I finished baking I saw our guests and the rest of the Gang enjoying their meal. All that was left for me was bread and jam, as I spread jam upon the bread Goldie was reading some of the latest news. Spring went up and asked "Anything interesting?" Goldie replied in his calm voice " A female pirate has mysteriously disappeared, I believe her pirate name was 'The Vixen' as well as other criminals on the loose." My eyes widen "sounds frightening.". Foxy chuckled back "If I ever meet dis, 'Vixen' I'd be havin' her beggin for me mercy!" Billy chimed in " yeah! Nothing can beat Foxy the Pirate!" Foxy eyes seem to glow with happiness then proceed to carry Billy onto his shoulders and to parade around yelling "you bet!" Billy then started to laugh and put his fists up in the air. I giggled at how cute they were, such pure excitement was good in a world that had much turmoil in it. I finished my snack for a breakfast and walked to marionette, he looked at me with a sullen look, it always looked like he was about to cry. "Um, marionette, I was planning on going to the market later today and I was wondering, if you and the kids would like to accompany me, we can stop by a tailor shop and get you some new clothes!" Marionettes eyes seem to glimmer as he eagerly replied "why yes of course we would greatly appreciate that! But... I'm not sure that we would be welcomed back in the market after... yesterday's incident." As he said that he looked more glum and droopy. I perked my head up "oh it's okay! People love me at the market so if your with me, it shouldn't be a problem at all!" He seemed to chuckle at my enthusiasm and gave a warm grin while foxy finally put down billy after being throughly dizzied, he settled down trying to catch his balance.
As I got up from my seat, I see Bonnie talking to his brother eagerly, he seemed much more happier than usual, I wonder why. I plan in my head what I'm going to do at the market then it popped in my head. I could probably ask foxy to come with us to the market and entertain the kids, oh that man just seems so perfect~ it would be a great excuse for him anyway as well for me because today is shipping day. Getting in goods that Goldie had requested months ago, aged wine from France as well as some other inventory goods that was needed for our business . In which would be super expensive and heavy cargo to carry, no one wants to carry that.
I finish my thoughts and spoke up trying to get foxy's attention " Hey foxy, would you like to accompany me, Mari and the children to the market?"  Foxy's ears perked up, "Aye lass, it would be good to stretch me legs around the town!" I beamed at his response as well as did billy and Janis knowing that this trip to the market would be more adventurous. I gathered my money and other goods that I could possibly bargain for, and left with the group to start today's adventure. The market was near the port as they always are, as well as more expensive shops along the side of land next to the broad walk. Mari, and Janis stuck close to me as foxy and billy went on their on escapade, within eye sight of course. Along with getting some errands done I made some small talk with Janis. " have you ever been to the market?" I asked her. Janis gripped onto Mari, being very intimidated by the crowd of people and shook her head. I chuckled and patted her head "it's okay, I won't let anything happen to you." She and Mari have gentle smiles. As I looked at the goods in the market I saw the man from yesterday in his booth. I grabbed foxy and billy before they could draw even more attention to themselves, as I lead the group to the tailors shop, well hidden and to get another errand off the check list. So I talked to the tailor, to set up the order of new clothes be tailored for our guests, as they were taken to the back room I had some alone time with my favorite fox. Foxy had leaned against the wall looking at the sea through the shops window, he looked so handsome, then glanced in my direction. He noticed me staring as I felt my cheeks starting to blush "aye is there something ye need lassie?"  I started to stammer "A-ah no, I was just thinking that, we don't spend much time together, that's all!" He just stares at me for moment then chuckles "we hang out together all the time!". I whined playfully "that's different in there it's our jobs! I meant us, you know just the two of us..." there was a silence floating in the air between us. I panicked and blurted out "not like a romantic way of course!!! I mean a way as in friends, where it's out of work!" Foxy blinked and seemed to laugh a sigh a of relief "hah, ye almost got me there lass! Of course we can hang out more if ye want, we don't need any roses in our relationship. Pfft Hahaha, us together? Such a silly thing..." I chuckle along with him. That voice I adore so much is laughing at the thought of us. It hurts.

So........ I'm still gonna try to Finish this. And possibly that sequel I thought if years ago, sorry I took so long but yeah..... enjoy
