"Hey, ugly slut! Where do you think you're going?" I cringed once I heard that voice; his voice. I held my books to my chest, not daring to turn around but he had other plans...I felt a tight grip on my shoulder and I was soon span around on my heels. Gaining my balance, I pushed my black glasses up on the bridge of my nose and looked nervously at him. "Y-yes, Jai? Did I-I do something wrong?" I stuttered, my eyes looking at his features, his absolute gorgeous features that I hated but still thought were stunning.

One corner of his lip went up as he formed a smirk, "Where's my homework!?" he growled in my face which made me jump back and cowardly hold my books closer. I hurriedly look through my books, finally finding the multiple pieces of paper that contained Jai Brooks' English assignment. I slowly handed it over to him, but he snatched it out of my hands and read over it. He looked up and smiled slightly, "Good work. But if I don't get at least an A...you'll hear about it" he threatened and he slapped all the books out of my grip. I sighed, dropping to my knees and collecting them one by one.

I bit my lip to hold down all the tears that were now being blinked away. I rushed to my locker and shoved all the books in it, dragging my bag down the hall as my vision was blurry and I wiped away every single tear that spread. He was a jerk...I don't know why I'm crying now, he does it all the time...some times he even hits me. I don't even know, why? He's just a dick. I finally arrived home, storming to my room...I hate having a double story house, I'm way too lazy to walk up the stairs every single day. I dumped my body on my bed, my face was now shoved into my lilac colored sheets. After what seemed like, 30 minutes,

I got off my bed and looked over to my full length mirror in the corner of my white walls painted room. I walked over to it and observed my appearance; My long, naturally wavy light brown hair hung under my shoulder bones, my bright blue eyes shined under my black glasses, my olive skin made them stand out especially, also my white straight teeth stood out under my baby blue braces. I focused on my body; it wasn't really...small like most skinny girls, it was more quite on the big side. I looked at my red puffy eyes from crying, I started to cry once again before making my way back to my bed; Jai was right...I was ugly.
