*Stahma's POV*
The year was 2049. It was after the bloodthirsty Omec Kindzi, had tried to take over the planet. I was glad that didn't happen. The only downside was the town was left without a doctor. Anyone who got sick had to go to the nearest town to be treated.
I had collected my portion
of the weekly revenue from the NeedWant. It had been a good week, as usual. As I was walking, my thoughts drifted to Kenya. Everyone thought she was dead, but I knew better. It was just a lie that I let the town believe. Only I knew what really happened that day in the woods. It was only until my husband Datak, said hello to me that I realized I was back at my home, the Tarr house. "Did you have a nice walk?" Datak asked.
"Oh... yes of course, dear."
"Good. I suppose you should get started on dinner now."
"I suppose I should."
An hour and a half later, I had finished cooking. I sat at the table with Alak, Christie, and Datak. I took a bite of the Pow, and noticed that it was not as satisfactory in taste as it usually was. Thankfully, the others didn't seem to notice. After they had all finished the meal and gone to bed, I snuck out, but unfortunately ran into Datak.
"Stahma, what are you doing out so late at night, my love?"
"Oh... Datak..." I looked down at my feet. "I was just out for a walk. I couldn't sleep," I lied. I had really gone out to visit Kenya.
"Well, I can't sleep either. I'll walk with you, dear."
Datak finding me and walking with me was not part of my plan. Despite that, I hesitantly agreed to let him come along. We were walking in peaceful silence, until Datak asked her a question.
"That time when we were chained together, and you said you loved Kenya, did you mean that?""Yes, I did. I also love you. Besides, it doesn't matter because she's out of the way."
"I guess it doesn't, since she's dead. I never thought you would keep her quiet for good, my dear."
"Neither did I..." I said with an almost villainous smile on my face.
Datak and I had finally gone to bed. The next night, I had gone out to the cabin to see Kenya. I stayed awhile, and talked with Kenya. Our relationship was more than just sex now. I loved her, but wasn't sure if her feelings were returned because of what Kenya's sister, Amanda, had said. The only way to be sure, though, was to ask Kenya myself.
"Kenya? May I ask you something?"
"Of course. You can ask me anything."
"Your sister said to me that my love for you was not returned. Is that true? Do you love me?"
"That's not true. She might've said just said that because she didn't know everything about our relationship. I do love you."
"I love you, too", I said with a smile.

*Datak's P.O.V.*
I was in the living room getting ready to go on a walk. I found Stahma in the next room. "Would you like to go on a walk with me, dear?" I asked.
"Of course. Im ready, so lets get going." She said as she gave me a small smile.
We headed out to the edge of town where the woods began. I've been suspicious of Stahma lately. She has been going towards the woods lately, and I'm not sure why. I intend to find out though.
"So, Stahma, how have you been lately? You seem distant."
She looked at me nervously, like there's something she was hiding. After a few moments, she finally answered with "I've been fine, dear. Don't worry about me."
We stopped talking for a while. I realized we were lost and had come to the end of the woods. The only thing in sight was a cabin.
