Secret Spy Of A War Hero's Wife

This night was longest night of my life.

Jane walked in the darkness to try to find the address that her husband gave to her. If there was an emergency of an air raid, so jane's finger and hands went pale and cold due to the cold and foggy night as she wad holding the note with address on it. She was shaking and finally she saw a signpost with white hall avenue as she walked down the lane to her address she looked around and thought to herself 'I am 2 minute from the war office'. Then as she carried on she saw her door number 48 and knocked on the door and no one came and she thought how am i going to get in and she looked at the note. It said Dear Jane, this is your new address if you had an emergency evacuation due to the air raid . This might be your new home for time being as our home might be ruined with the bombs.
However unfortunately I didn't give you the key as I left you to go on the front line. So I asked a good friend of mine to hide it in a safe place sorry got to go. Will write to you soon duty calls take care, give my love to the children... love you loads Thomas. X

Jane looked puzzled and ask herself the question "where's the key?", you didn't tell me about the key you hidden, now I have no where to go". As Jane collapses to the floor she drop the note and the note turned over and had writing on it and said " Jane I manage to write to you only have 2 minutes before I leave base to go on duty, the thing I was on about is in the ??owe? pot ,I have to keep this a secret hope you worked it out .better go take care love Thomas. Jane looked confused and said to herself quietly "the key is in the something pot?, flower pot maybe",as Jane looked in the flower pot and saw the key she unlocked the door and walked in and said to herself "oh.... what is this place and why did Thomas hide the key and why didn't he mention anything to do with this place?".

As she went upstairs as they was no sitting or kitchen down here as it was narrow the hallway to the stairs, Jane asked herself it's it a flat? as she reaches the step as she opened the door it was dark as she took a few steps a light came on and it was a man sat in the chair writing on a piece of paper as Jane looked around before asking this man's name, she noticed there's only a small kitchen, quite a big living room and then she looked puzzled as the man in his late 30s walked right up to her and asked "are you the wife of Thomas Andrews?", Jane then replied as her eyes were looking at the small kitchen "yes i am and "may i ask who you are?". The man spoke quietly and said "I am Jack Green, I am here as your husband ask me too".

Jane looked shocked and said " I know you, you the one who gave me the telegraphy but one of the soldier's said you was gone quit" Jack looked at her and said "yes I did but I don't trust that Gordon he knows something about Thomas but we are going to find out". Jane Sat in the old chair and asked Jack " OK where do we start" Jack said itching the back of his head "tomorrow at 8 am Gordon has a meeting with Winston Churchill, so we can to his office and look for information but until then we must rest".
