Yay 😆the other day I was at the barn and I got to ride my favorite horse (ginger) she is a 17 year old chestnut quarter horse mare and i love her.
So I usually don't ride her because she is is in training because she wasn't ever rode before the barn got her but I usually just take her on walks and teach her tricks. So when I was practicing her bow my trainer asked if I wanted to ride her and btw I ride English and I'm trained in the hunters seat but I was like yea so she said get her tacked up and meet me in the arena.
After I got tacked up I headed to the arena and I saw my trainer riding a project horse named dude I yelled "gait" and went inside to mount I was so excited because this would be the first time to ever ride her. So when I mount she stood quite under me when I squeeze her to move her on she started perfectly. We mainly just trotted around and practiced doing our emergency dismount which she was perfect at doing.
When we finished I untacked and put her in her stall and we continued to work on her bow.She is always the first horse I go and see everyday.Maybe when she is done with her training I can lease her.
That's her at the top of the page and me😉
