Elizabeth walked through the forest, taking a deep breath around her. Nature is so beautiful thought Elizabeth. She couldn't stay here forever though. She sat down on the grass, taking out her notebook. She started to write in it.
"It is already the beginning of summer vacation, and mother and father have already given me chores to complete by the end of the summer. They've been fighting a lot more now. It's making me worried. I can hear stuff being broken, and loud banging of doors. Oh, if only Mary could be here right now. Maybe than there wouldn't be a lot of fighting"
Elizabeth stopped writing and looked up at the sky.
"Mary, please come back" she whispered to herself, a couple of tears falling from her eyes.
She got up and ran back to her house as quickly as possible, taking short breaks to admire the birds beautiful voices.
When she had finally arrived back at her house, she quietly slipped through the front door, daring to not make a single sound. She grabbed an apple from the kitchen counter, and went silently into her bedroom.
