So, this happened today (Monday April 25th, 2016). I was at the local HEB with my mom buyin stuff for our broken air conditioner (it's really hot in my house right now) and we were just walking out the door when we saw an employee running up to this man that had beer in his cart. He escorted him back into the store as my mom said that he was trying to steal.
I kept looking back at the two, wanting to see what was going to happen. I looked back and I saw the guy who was trying to steal run out of the store as fast as he possibly can through the parking lot. He lost his hat on the way. Me and my mom just stared in shock. The employee started chasing after him, but stopped at the guy's hat and picked it up.
And when we were leaving the area, we saw a police car come in. So, as we were waiting at the light, I kept expecting to be hearing gun shots coming from the parking lot. Yep. I witnessed a robbery.
