It's funny how people used to think the world was flat. It does look flat if one was to look around while standing. I wonder what earth would be like if it was flat. I imagine there wouldn't be too many changes. Sure no more globes, there might be cases of people falling off assuming that their would be no walls or sides. Also from space the world would well...just look flat.
It's also interesting how people used to think smoking was not bad for you. Although who knows maybe people as in lab people or the government knew that health issues and smoking are related.
