Hi guys sorry it took long for this second chapter I was really busy. Enjoy!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up in a sweat from the nightmare that I'd just had. Still a little disoriented I looked over at the clock and saw it was 10:50 a.m.
After I grabbed a quick shower I looked through my closet for a clean pair of jeans and a black crop top.
Once I finished dressing I went downstairs and saw that my mom was cooking pancakes and she had on sweats with a white t-shirt that had an old Panthers band logo on it and she also had her long auburn hair in a messy bun.
"Good morning sleepy head, pancakes?" She asked while setting down the cooking pan, walking over to me and giving me a kiss on the forehead.
"Yes please I am hungry." I stated patting my belly. While sitting down she came over and put pancakes on my plate.
After a few minutes of silence my mom spoke, "so are you already packed? You know you bus leaves at three ."
"Yes, mom I know I will go pack right now."
I got up and washed my plate then I headed upstairs to pack my bags. Once upstairs I looked around my messy room and thought 'well , this is going to take a while. At least I don't have to bring EVERYTHING.' And set to work with throwing random clothes into my suitcase and duffle bags.
By 2:00 I was done packing my needed toiletries and clothes so I set my stuff in the trunk of the car.
When we arrived at the train station at 2:40 I got all my things out of the trunk and was about to leave but my mom stopped me.
"Aw, honey are you sure this is what you want? I am going to miss you so much, call me everyday if you can I want to hear from you at least three or four times a week, promise?" She asked with tears slipping down her slightly wrinkled face and that was when I realized how long we have been together just the two of us, living life and only needing each other. I smiled sadly and hugged her while tears rolled down my own cheeks.
"I'm going to miss you too mom, I love you too and yes, I promise to call you all I can." I stated
"See you later alligator." She said waving as I left toward the boarding station.
"See you in a while crocodile." I called over my shoulders as more tears slipped down my cheeks, recalling how long it's been since she has said it to me.
