CHAPTER 3
-- 6:00 AM --
I sat on my couch eat a bowl of oatmeal, watching ‘Say Yes To The Dress’. Okay, I’m not all that tough. But still, it’s a good show. Then I heard two loud knocks come from the front door, with a mouthful of oatmeal. I set the bowl down on the coffee table, and got up. Swallowing my mouthful of oatmeal, I unlocked the front door and opened it.
I still had on my pajamas, I put on some makeup for the meeting with some sponsors. My hot pink lipstick would go good with my curled hair I still haven’t decided to do, my eye shadow made the green in my eyes pop. I had on a black band around my right ring finger.
Harry stood before me, he had a black button up blazer with a white v-neck shirt on. Tight black jegging skinny jeans, and brown ‘grandpa’ shoes. He had a watch on his left hand and a ring on his thumb. On his right hand, he had two rings on his middle and ring finger.
I waved him in, “ Good morning Cheeky Bastard.” Harry smiled at the nickname I gave him last night. He walked in and looked around the place, I locked the door behind him and made my way back to the couch.
“ Make yourself at home. We have at least two hours until the first meeting.” I told him. Harry glanced at me before kicking his shoes off, I plopped back onto the couch with the oatmeal in my hands. I continued eating and watched the TV intently.
Harry sat down beside me, and I scooted a bit so I didn’t fall into him. I watched as some girl on TV named Tiffany rejected a gorgeous dress that was perfect for her. I complained, “ Oh my god that dress was perfect! Damn you rich people..” I looked over at Harry who had his eye brows raised at me.
“ Sorry..” I apologized. Harry smiled and kicked his feet up, “ Don’t worry I get you.” I smiled and got up, walking into the kitchen I put my bowl in the sink and turned on the sink. The water rinsed the remains of the oatmeal before I shut it off.
I walked out of the kitchen and told Harry, “ I have to get changed and stuff so I’ll be a minute.” Harry turned to look at me and flashed a smile before I shut the bathroom door behind me. I pulled the hair tie out of my hair and looked at myself in the mirror, definitely curls.
I curled the ends of my hair, and applied hair spray before opened the bathroom door. Walking into my bedroom, I opened my closet. Picking a white tank top, black military shirt jacket, black skinny jeans, and my favorite black beanie I disappeared back into the bathroom. In no time I was changed and touching up my makeup, before walking out of the bathroom.
Harry was still on the couch when I walked out, his head snapped over to me and his jaw about dropped to the floor. I smiled and lifted the ends of the jacket.
“ Do I look okay?” I asked. I looked down at my outfit, I heard shuffling and looked back up only to jump to see Harry right in front of me. He smiled down at me and said, “ You look beautiful.” I felt my cheeks get a bit hot and I smiled, “ Thank you.”
I poked his hard stomach, “ You don’t look so bad yourself.” Harry chuckled and I turned to the living room. Sitting back down, I grabbed the remote and changed the channel. MTV had Ridiculousness on. I tossed the remote away and smiled at the screen.
Harry sat down beside me and I laughed as some lady threw a giant ball at her kid, the kid fell to the ground. I shook my head and sighed, I sat back only to be sitting right next to Harry. He glanced down at me and wrapped an arm around the back of the couch. His other hand was on the arm rest, I slightly leaned into him.
“ How was that funny?” Harry asked. I looked up at him and smiled, “ In America, anything dealing with getting hurt, drunk, doing something stupid, an epic fail, or prank is funny.” I used my fingers to gesture how many things I suggested. Harry smiled and leaned down and kissed my cheek. His right arm was now wrapped around me and his fingers messed with a belt loop on my skinny jeans.
