Pitch Perfect 2

Barden University opened up again for the fall, and most of the students were there from last year, but there was a few new faces. I was greeted to an over-excited woman, who gave me directions to my new dorm. I followed her directions, but I got lost in a hallway. I turned around and went to the next corner, and ran into a familiar face. I look up and smiled. It was Jesse. I hadn't seen him for the whole summer, and I missed him so much.

"Hey, Jesse." I said smiling at him.

"Hey, million dollar baby." He said smiling at me.

I laughed and shock my head at him. Its what he said to me when my dad bailedme out of prison. His hands wrapped tightly around my waist and he leaned in for a kiss. The kiss felt so distant and unfamiliar, I never wanted it to stop, but of course, like all things, it eventually stopped.

"What room?" He asked grabbing my hand and walking me down the unfamiliar hallway.

"306." I reply.

He knew the hallways better than me, so he found it in only 2 minutes.

"Thanks." I said putting the key into the doorknob.

" Your welcome. " He said kissing me on the lips lightly.

"What room are you in?" I asked after the kiss ended.

"306." He replied smiling at me.

Oh, so thats why he won't leave. He lives in the same room as me. I turn the doorknob and push the door open. He pushes the door closed and puts his hands around my waist tightly.

"I missed you." He whispered in my ear.

"I missed you, too." I whispered turning around and facing him. He leaned foward and kissed my lips. Then, he lifted me and put me on the bed. He started unbuttoning my shirt, when my watch beeped.

"I'm going to be late to the audition." I said looking into his eyes.

He let go off me, so I got up off the bed and buttoned up my shirt. I was about to leave when Jesse grabbed my waist.

"I love you." He whispered in my ear.

He let go of my waist and I hurried into the hallway. Once the door shut, I leaned against the wall. No one ever told me they loved me before, not even my own father. His words surprised me, I would never have expected anyone to tell me that, ever. I felt tears forming in my eyes. I felt that way about him, but I didn't know how to react when he told me at first. I left him in the room with an unfinished answer, with a broken heart, him knowing I probably don't love him. I turn the doorknob and walk back into the room. His face looks up and I see tears in his eyes.

"Jesse, I love you, too."

The words seem to surprise him and he walks over to me. He grabs my waist, pulls me closer to him, and we kiss roughly. After about a minute, my watch beeps again, meaning that in 10 minutes, the audition starts. He pulls his lips away from mine, but he hugs me. I hug him back, then I leave the room. I walk to the audition slowly, so that I have time to think about what just happened. Eventually, I reach the stage, where the audition is held, and take my seat with the other Barden Bellas. I am 6 minutes early, but Audbrey still gives me a talk about being early and that if I didn't spend so much time with Jesse, I would be early. I just rolled my eyes at her. Same, old Audbrey, I bet nobody missed her during vaction. After about a minute later, Stacie and Fat Amy take there seats and get the same talk about being early by Audbrey. I feel like she is the one in control of everyone, even though she gave me the pitch pipe. I think Audbrey is still serious about the "no trebles" rule, so she always makes sure to give me the talk because I am with Jesse. I look over at Stacie, she seems so lonely.The whole time that I knew her she hasn't been with anyone. She says that she doesn't want a man who will use her for her body because ever single guy she was with did that. Justin comes up to the stage and clears him throat.

"The first one up is Sabrina Cox. Good Luck." He says looking at her.

She starts singing the sixteen bars of Kelly Clarkson's Since You Have Been Gone song, the same as last year but she had a very quiet voice that no one could hear. She finished, or at least I thought she finshed, because she walked off the stage. A guy named Dylan West came up on stage and sang the same song and more people came up the stage and untill there was no more people to sing the song.

"Okay, that is everyone. Now your groups will tell you if you get in or not."

3 more girls got into the Barden Bellas and 4 guys got into the Treble Makers.
