The way I see it, everybody gets that one dream come true. Like, getting a scholarship into their preferred college, or becoming the president of the untied states.

I personally, will probably never walk on the moon, win the lottery or get eaten by a pack of hungry wolves. But if you consider all the unlikely things together, at least one of them will happen to each of us.

But my dream come true was different: out of all the houses in all the cities in all of South Korea, I ended up living next door to Kim taehyung.

My parents and I had moved to South Korea when I was two because my dad, being from Korea, found work over there. We originally lived in Orlando, Florida in America. I only spoke as much English as two year old could, but soon adapted to the langue over in Korea with my dads help. Later on when I was around four years old, taehyung and his parents moved into the house directly across the street.

When taehyung and I were around the age of nine, our parents had become good friends, so we would sometimes play together, biking around our suburb. I always felt on edge or nervous whenever my mother mentioned that Taehyung was about come over. He was the most amazingly, beautiful creature God had ever created.

Taehyung always biked standing up, he would slightly lean over the handlebars, his light brown hair blowing in the wind and his black Nike sneakers always a blur.

It was a muggy day, late May. The sky above us clear but in front dark grey clouds covered, looking like it might storm later. I sped up on my bike, passing taehyung and flying down the old crammy city streets. The wind blowing my long brown hair. I sharply flicked my head once to left trying to get my hair out my face as i smiled. I turned back to see Taehyung had the same expression following me down the busy and noisy streets.

We soon got far enough out of city, we'd finally hit dirt and the ride became a lot more bumpy. I rode through the all too familiar forrest, It was a massive acre of land filled with tall green trees and lots of bushes. I rode deeper and deeper inland until I came to a halt, jumping off my bike, watching if fall to the ground aggressively. I turned around seeing no sign of Tae. So slow, I thought to myself with a smug smile finding its way to my lips.

My head peered away from the bike and up towards the giant abandoned pool right in front of my eyes. The underground pool walls were a light shade of blue, the ground a mix between the same colour and a faded patch of grey in the middle where the floor had mysteriously been destroyed. Faint white lines, forming 10 lanes determined that this was once a lap pool.

Wasting no time, I made my way down the once silver but now rusty ladder. It had two missing poles at the end, causing me to have to jump down to the floor. After ridding all the way here my adrenaline was pumping, I ran quickly across the pool floor, making sure I dodged every plant that had grown through the grounds surface and every puddle of water from previous rain fall. Ending up in the direct centre of the pool I plopped myself down onto a mattress that had been left here. I laid down on my back, turning my head to the left, admiring all the graffiti that covered only one of the pool walls.

I gazed up at the sky, using one of my arms to shield my eyes from the sun that beamed down on me. Looking further forward I saw those dark clouds nearing. After what felt like 5 seconds the sun in front of me was suddenly covered causing me knit my eyebrows together. The clouds were to far for them to have covered up the sun that quickly, so the one and only Taehyung must have caught up to me.

My confused expression turned into a smirk, "took your time" I teased not even bothering to open my eyes. "Shut up" I heard him say, as I felt the spot next to me the mattress sink. I turned to my right this time, opening my eyes to be greeted with those beautiful brown eyes staring back at me.
