So lets see…did I miss anything? I’m Blades, rank 2 of the Merc Guild, and no bladed weapon can hurt me…now that we are all caught up, lets begin.

The king of one of the kingdoms requested me, rank 2, for a mission. Depending on the mercs’ rank depends on the cost…good to be me. I showed my proof of membership to the mercs guild. Fyi, it’s a tattoo on my back. All mercs have it somewhere on there body, shows that we are who we say we are. I was lead to the king along with 3 others, that I didn’t recognize. The king walks in as his crier yells his introduction. I don’t pay attention to names of patrons, in case I have to threaten them for my money later. Kings tend to do the half now half later deal, to make sure we come back for the second half. The 3 and myself get our halves and leave.

Mission time: slay who ever gets in our way to rescue this king’s daughter, ie a princess. Simply enough. Mercs aren’t the best team members…we tend to do our own thing, upon receiving the mission, one of those 3 takes off. The other 2 wait with me. The 2 talk to themselves they say to me, work together? I roll my eyes and walk away. I get to were the princess is being held to find a few knocked out guards. I walk inside to find that the one that took off ahead of us is fighting guards, so many at once the stairs are blocked. So I was fuck that and walk back outside looking for another way in. Windows would work. I slowly scan the walls for a way up. The pair finally make it here, running. They do a running jump off of the bigger ones shoulders into the window. The one that got in through the window lowers a bed sheet down for the big one to climb up on.

I find a path that looks decent enough to scale and climbs it with ease, using knives as needed. I get inside and to my surprise…wrong room. I run and kick the door open, knocking out the big guy…oops. The smaller one runs to the right, so I go to the left. I encounter a few guards, slicing them to pieces quickly, with little to no effort. I run down a few hallways, slicing up guards as I encounter them, making quick work of these weaklings. Stairs to my left going up and stairs to my right going down…up it is. I quickly climb up the spiral to as high as I can. Slight amount of guards try to stop me. Their form is horrible and are chopped down quickly. I make it to a gigantic room, a guardsman at the back of it, but he looks different from the rest. I must be close. I draw my sword and walk towards this guardsman. There are tables…in-between the tables are bodies…what the hell?…I keep going…more bodies between every table…then I see 3 familiar bodies…

(Guardsman to your right)

I stop for a second, the guardsman laughs evilly, “I have killed all of them with this sword, what makes you think you’ll survive?” “I’m Blades, no sword can cut me.” he twitched a little at my name, looks like he knew who I was. I lunged straight at him, he parried stumbling a little bit. He went to strike, I dodged it with a backwards movement. He thrusts over and over trying to keep his distance, while trying to stab me. I dodge with a backwards movement over and over. Backing up till he hit’s the point were I stopped for a second at, he stumbles slightly. I didn’t stop for the dead bodies, I stopped to remember the spot where the wooden planks come up slightly. The guardsman stumbles as I slice open the side of his neck. “You were just playing with me!!!” he says as he tries to hold his neck closed, while more blood spews out. “you’re not done are you?” he asks me. I watch him as the color of his skin fades. “you’ll die slowly with your sword through your chest,” I said as I thrusted his sword into his left lung. I left him gagging on his own blood and trying to get more air into his pierced lung. I walked into the next room where I found the target. I accompanied her all the way back. Mission successful…I got my second half of my gold and left to find the next mission…
