I am still in shock. My light, she burnt everything to the ground over one stupid joke.

She was everyone's sunshine and now she is just the wild fire that destroys all in its path.

I wish I didn't find out.

I wish I didn't look.

I wish it wasn't true.

I don't want to believe it as much as I have.

I'd still be alive if only I didn't know.

It was one rumor, one joke, and everyone being so gullible.

They describe the way to hell as tall, fiery gates when is reality it is a metal, gray push/pull door.

She was driven to madness. Everyone around her, in her circle, started dying. It was no surprise at all that she killed them. The evidence was right there. They all left words of her in their dying breathe.

Her mother, her sisters, her brother, father, her friends, her enemies, and now I were all dead.

Our small town was even smaller after she reined.

She wasn't always a monster. I remember a time where she was happy. When she was sane. When life was just life and we were living it. Everything would roll right off her shoulder. She was indestructible. I loved every bit of it.

Then life caught up with us. We were sucked through the meat grinder of the education system. I thought we would be able to put ourselves back together in the end. We would be just like old times...

I started a joke.

We all did. It is what we do. Everyone has done it. No one thought anything of it.

But she did...

It festered a great beast inside her. It grew and grew, but she didn't tell anyone. She gave up and set the beast free because it was too strong.

It was news report after news report, phone call after phone call, and funeral after funeral. Everyone was dissipating.

It was all because of her, the great killer.

She was the light of my life and she burned everything.

I am now just like her.

A killer.

Just like her, I will die first.

Exactly like her, I would die first.
