Chapter 8- Bunny Rabbit

"Yes Mom. Im with Jade in this one. You just cant choose my wife."

I was glad that Niall backed me up in this one. Maybe he has changed. Maybe he is not the same Niall who used to beat me.

LUNA

"Mom what the hell? What is wrong with you?" I asked concerned.
"Luna don't question me" Mother said quite calmly.

Angered and flustered I told her, I asked her, Why was she doing this? This was my future, my love life that she was messing with. I was an adult! I need to be treated like one. I could not marry Niall for I did not love him. How could I marry him? He had hurt me so much physically and mentally. Thanks to him I still thought myself as ugly, as worthless. How could I marry him when I wanted just wanted to set my career on track... When I wanted to find love, not that love that you find and then let go. No I wanted true love! I wanted to find Prince Charming, because to this day I believe that every girl has her prince, she just needs to wait. One day Prince Charming will come.

"Mother will you stop! Just stop! Now! I am not a thing you can just give! How can you give my hand to someone I do not know?!"
"Luna Lockwood you will marry Niall and that is it!"
"No! I refuse! I will not marry him!"
"Luna enough you will do as you are told!"

As tears made their way down my face, I ran. I bolted out the door, ran as fast as possible out of that place. My hell. I felt the cold breeze hitting my skin. It felt as if knives were slitting my skin. I had forgotten I had left my jacket by the door when we first arrived at Niall's house. As I ran, I screamed, I cried all the years of pain I had inside, all that torment. My inner dragon was finally breaking down just for a second. My dragon knew I needed to feel. I stopped and realized I was lost. I looked around and started to panic. I spotted a park near by and walked over to a bench and sat down. I heard a noise, frightened I jumped up...

HARRY

As the fight developed in front of me, I imagined a million ways that everything could go wrong. Luna was slowly backing up, her mom getting angrier by the second. She was intent on making Luna agree on marry this goof ball. I saw Luna's terror. How could her mom not had payied any attention to her? Did she not see the pain that she was causing her? Luna so sweet and fragile inside while a strong and fearsome warrior on the outside. As my thoughts swirled inside of my head, I saw Luna run, out the door and into the black streets. I heard Luna's mom yelling after her. I started to go after her, but I felt someone grab my arm and yank me back. It was Niall. "What are you doing?" He asked. "I am going after her do you not see?" He looked at me as if he was staring into my soul. He let go and said "You like her.... But how? You have just met." "Aye we have just met but she and I made a connection, one that I cannot explain but it is there and you will need to come terms with that." I said as I gave him one last look and ran after Jade.

Thank to the gods of Olympus, my heart told me where she was. My heart told me she was close. I ran and ran until I reached a park. I saw Luna sitting as I came to a stop. I admired her. I saw her thin limbs, her profile was just perfect. As I moved foward I stepped on a branch. Luna scared jumped up and formed her hands into fists. "Who the fuck is there?" She questioned. Wondering if I should keep quiet or speak up for she looked quite lethal, I speaked up "Jade it's me Harry" I saw the relief in her face as I stepped foward. She ran to me and jumped into my arms. I hugged her back, I holded on to her. "She's safe, She's safe Styles" I repeated to myself.

I thought to myself, Styles stop! You just met her you can't already have feelings for her, but my inner demon said why not? Because it is too early! I will earn her love. I will listen to her, be there for her. I will get to know her more then and only then will I decide if she is the one.
"Harry I'm scared" Luna said tearful.
"Do not worry Luna, I'm here"
"Harry I don't want to marry him, not today, not tomorrow, not ever!" This time she nuzzled her head in my chest and cried desperately. "Please Harry you have to help me!"
"Luna I will help you, but I need you to calm down. I will not let you be forced into marriage that's a promise."

Luna pulls me over to the bench and sits fairly close to me. She rests her head on my shoulder and sighs. I feel her grin mischievously. "Bunny rabbit." "Um Luna why did you just say bunny rabbit?" "Because that's what I'm calling you!" "No! No! No! You are NOT calling me bunny rabbit!" "I just did!" She says as she jumps up and starts yelling "bunny rabbit" at the top of her lungs.

I looked at her. Gods of Olympus she was gorgeous. Her cute self just running around calling me bunny rabbit.
"Luna of all the names in this world why exactly bunny rabbit?"
"Harry= Hare... Hare= Bunny Rabbit" She said grinning.
"Uhh Luna did you think about what you just said?'
" Why?"
"Luna a hare is a giant ugly bunny, now bunny rabbit is a small, fluffy well bunny.... But anyway a hare is a giant bunny.... The way you just made that connection of Hare= Bunny Rabbit just astounds me..." I said why laughing. I saw Luna walk over to me she just stood there glared at me, and just whispered bunny rabbit. I burst out laughing and she too.
"Harry.... Bunny rabbit that's better... you are being called that! Tatatata no no buts! You are my bunny and you will always be..."
I saw the determination in her eyes there was no going back... I will have to accept that I am being called bunny rabbit.

NIALL

I worried about Luna. Was she ok? Did Harry find her? Why did I let Harry go after her? I loved her. All the times that her mother wrote to her, called her I was there. I saw the pictures, I helped her mom pick the shoes that later on she would receive. To be honest I had never forgotten Luna. To this day I wake up in the middle of the night sweating and crying, asking myself why had I hurt her? I was a fool. For only an idiot would hurt an angel. She was a beauty. My beauty! Harry had no right falling for her! I mean they had just met. I.... I had known her all my life. Even though I didn't talk to her, I knew everything about her. I knew about Rydell, her friends, her wishes to become a professional photographer and even maybe one day a Director. I know about her dating Kenickie, I know about their break up. I know about her father hating me. I know about her growing up in America, how she was daddy's little girl. I know about their mansion in L A, I know about the one in Malibu and the one in SOHO.
"Niall can I have a word with you?" Ms. Sinclair asked.
"Sure Ms. Sinclair"
"Oh Niall please call me Destiny"
"Sure Ms. Sin.... Sorry I mean Destiny"

She proceeded to tell me, no to beg me to marry Luna. To please forgive her daughter's behavior. I told her that she need not apologize. I understood Luna's behavior... I mean who would want to marry their bully? Staring at Destiny, I could see in her eyes that she was intent on making Luna marry me... But why? Why make Luna marry me?
