I am from childish games
And childish thoughts
Blanket and chair tents
And early morning cartoons
I am from innocence
and ignorance of the world.
From happiness and cluelessness
From eating cereal while lies are told
Sleeping tight while murder unfolds
Going to school without a thought
of the demons that lurk
I am from happiness that doesnt fade
even though somewhere adultery is made
From sadness that would last
But now thats all in the past
In a bottle it goes
But no one knows
That the smile i have
Is but a painting on paper
