Barkada Night Out (Part 2)

The night was indeed a memorable one. I'm just staying here at our table arranging some food stuffs while observing what my friends are doing.

Kira and Pirro were already together for 5 and a half years now. I remember how they ended up with each other. I smiled. Before, they look like 'aso and pusa' na laging nagsasagutan, nagtatalo and minsan nagkakasakitan na din sila physically. Hindi mawawala sa daily habit nila yon. Until they reach the time that they really fall with each other. Nahiya pa nga si Pirro manligaw non e and my mataray bestfriend naman ay napakamanhid. Feeling nila mga bata pa sila but we they're friends really can tell na mahal na nila ang para sa isa't isa. Nag-aaway din sila kapag si Pirro ay laging nakikipag-flirt sa mga babae. Hindi talaga siya papansinin ni Kira and you know what Kira will do? She will take her own revenge and that is to flirt with other guys also. And at that point, nag-away sila nad nagsagutan hanggang nasabi nalang nila ang feelings nila out of anger. Till now, I am very happy to see the both of them grew with each others love.

Nabaling naman ang tingin ko kay Dustin and Rheese. Sila ang nag-iihaw ng mga kakainin namin. I think they ended up with each other noong 2nd year college kami dahil sa pustahan ng magagaling kong kaibigan na lalaki. They tease ''the mighty chickboy'' Dustin to court our quiet bestfriend Rheese. All I can see now is that may naidulot din naman palang maganda yung pustahan na yon. Yeah, at first we got mad at what boys did but when they explained to us what's the reason behind that, unti unti naman namin sila napatawad. They told us that Rheese was the only  way to stop Dustin from hurting girls' feeling. Natororpe daw kasi siyang manligaw kay Rheese at baka mabasted kaya ginawa nalang ng mga boys na dare yun sa kanya for him to do it. That is the love story of Dustin and Rheese.

Olive and Uxces were tasked to buy some drinks sa bayan. Yeah, kung tinatanong niyo kung sila din ba, OO. Actually, kanina ko lang nalaman na sila na. Hindi ko alam kung ano talaga ang nangyari. I ask them kung paano naging sila, ang sagot ba naman ng madaldal kong kaibigan, 'Bez, wala na kasing pumapatol kay Xes kaya naawa naman ako. Pinatulan ko na'. See, after that ayun at kunwari  nagtampo si Uxces, nilambing naman agad ni Olive.. Hayyy.

Immo and Wensel had been together for more than 3 years until last  March 28 came. They did'nt tell us what really happen or what was the reason why they broke up but they did it actually. Sa nakikita ko ngayon, hindi naman sila bitter sa isa't isa. Magkasama pa silang nag-ayos ng gathering na to e. Lagi din silang magkadikit kahit break na sila so I can say that they broke up in a nice way siguro. Hayaan nalang muna natin sila. Magkakabalikan din sila at the right time.

And of course, ako eto... Kunwari nag-aayos pa din dito sa table kahit na kanina ko pa naman naayos. Ayaw ko kasi istorbohin yung mga kaibigan ko since masaya naman sila sa ginagawa nila.

''Ring... Ring... Ring... Ring'' my phone rang. I'm getting it from my pocket when someone talked to me..

Tinatawagan ka na ng boyfriend mo? Hindi ka siguro nagpaalam no? Uwi ka na kasi para di ka niya tinatawagan! And he turned his back on me with letting me say a word.

Ring... Ring... Ring... Ring''. I let out a deep sigh before standing up and answer the call.

Hello mmy. Opo andito na po ako. Baka hindi na po ako makakauwi, kina Kira nalang  ako matutulog. Maaga nalang po ako uuwi tomorrow. Sige po good night mmy. I Love you. I said then hung up the phone when I saw Chael standing behind me.

I love you huh? See I told you. Your boyfriend will ask you to go home already. Bakit ka pa kasi andito, e pwede ka naman ng umuwi. If I were you, just go home and obey your boyfriend. Tssss. And for the second time he turned his back to me again as my tears started to fall.

Ano bang naging kasalanan ko sa kanya at bakit parang galit na galit siya saakin?

Isa lang naman ang alam kong rason e, but it was 5 freaking years. That was when we were graduated from high school. We expected that Chael will be our Valedictirian and I know that he is expecting that too because of his parents' expectation. They did'nt tell us our ranks until the day before the graduation came and that is during our practice for the celebration the next morning. As our teacher was calling the names of the students who are on the top she started calling from tenth place. And when Mrs. Pineda announced our Salutatorian, we were shocked because we expected that I will be the one to be called so Chael did not went up on the stage. But after a while, she repeated announcing Cheal's name and that's the time I saw Chael's mad eyes on me.

After that celebration, he did'nt talk to me anymore. Kahit may gathering ang barkada during the vacation of that same year, hindi niya ako tinatapunan ng tingin. If ever naman, all I can see is his cold and mad stare.

So when my parents ask me where to study for college I said I want to study in our province, where mom and dad studied. Kahit noon pa man kasi, napag-usapan na naming mga magkakaibigan that we will enroll in the same school para di kami magkakahiwalay.

I did told them what my decision is kaya naintindihan naman nila. Ayaw ko lang kasi na tuluyan ng magalit si Chael sakin so lumayo nalang ako.

I can't take the pain so I went to our tambayan. Ang sakit na ng dibdib ko so binilisan ko ang lakad para makuha ko ang inhaler ko sa bag. God, wag naman po sana ngayon. Thank God, busy parin ang mga kaibigan ko kaya hindi nila ako napansin.

Asan na ba yun? tanong ko habang hinahanap yung inhaler. Ang sakit na talaga ng dibdib ko at nahihirapan na ako huminga hindi parin tumitigil yung mga luha ko.

''Oh bez, ano yang hinahanap mo at parang hindi mo mahanap-hanap? Nabigla ako at nasa likod ko si Kira. Thanks to the dim light hindi niya nakita ang mukha kong puno ng luha. I simply wipe my tears habang hinahanap pa rin ang inhaler ko dahil tlagang di na ko makahinga.

''Bez, ano ba yang hinahanap mo at bakit di mo ako sinasagot? Di mo ba narinig yung tanong ko? And she tried to face me when everything went black...
