Enid's POV
I heard a knock on the bedroom door.
I sighed, knowing it was Glenn. I wiped my eyes, stood up, and walked to the door.
I opened the door and let Glenn in. He walked over and sat on the bed. I sat next to him.
Glenn sighed. "I know I was selfish trying to kill myself," he said.
I shook my head. "I was upset but it is your choice. I know I've had those thoughts before. Back when I was by myself."
Glenn sighed and looked at a painting on the wall. "Yeah but you had no one you cared about, I still have my whole group. Your thoughts were justified. Mine weren't."
I gave Glenn a small smile. "It's okay," I told him, repeating Carl's words. "You're okay."
Glenn stood up and walked over to me. I stood up as well. Glenn pulled me into a hug. I leaned the side of my head on his chest and wrapped my arms around his torso, like what I usually do with Carl.
"I just," I began. "I just can't lose another dad."
I felt Glenn sigh. "I know," he said. "And I won't lose my daughter."
I smiled as Glenn released the hug, still keeping his hands on my shoulders.
"We good?" he asked.
I gave a small nod. "Yeah," I said. "We're good."
"Okay," he said. "The group is back we should go help them out."
I nodded and Glenn and I walked out of the bedroom.
The group was already situated in the RV.
Rick came up to me. "We're staying here until tomorrow," he explained. "We'll continue tomorrow."
"Okay," I said.
I found Carl sitting on the couch. I went over and sat next to him. I slowly let my head fall on his shoulder.
We sat there for a few minutes until I spoke up. "Carl?" I said.
He looked at me. "Yeah?" he asked.
I lifted my head off his shoulder and asked, "Do you wanna go for a hunt?"
