Chapter two

Pyro moved slightly through the dark, dust filled room, though there was hardly any light in the room at all, he could see everything perfectly, the demon blood in his eyes projected there own sort of invisible light which reflected back to his retina. The room was like an old, small shop. Odd items raging from swords and daggers, to rings and pendants hung, crammed up against the walls, on a large table in the middle of the room, various tools and books littered and cluttered the top and hung over the edge at places.

Pyro strode through the room he paused at the end of the room, crouched down and drew an od symbols in the dust on the floor, as he did his Omen glowed slightly and a thin tendril wove down his arm to his finger and onto the strange symbol. Finished, he stood up, the marks on the ground flashed red and Pyro vanished.

"Pyro!" a loud voice called out, as Pyro appeared in a stone room lit with faulty electric lights, "took your time boy!"

"What have you got for me Rufus?" he replied in an almost bored tone.

Rufus was a tall, thickset man with thick black wiry hair; he was one of the few condemned souls to not give in to the Dark King.

"Possession," Rufus sighed, "near South Hampton, doesn't seem to powerful, take a stone in case though."

"No prob, Rufe," he replied and crouched down, drawing the symbol again.

"Be careful Pyro," Rufus warned him just as the symbol flashed red and pyro appeared again in the dark musty room, before he left the room, he walked to the table and open a draw tucked away underneath it, inside the draw were a number of dull coloured stones, Pyro pocketed a dark, dull red coloured stone, as he touched it, the stone pulsed a faint light briefly.

Back on the street, Pyro lifted his hood over his head and gently pushed his way back through the street, the way he had come.

When he got back onto the open road, he sprouted wing-like growths again, and sprung into the air.

Pyro flew along the road, the disfiguring cracks that covered the road whizzing past.

He suddenly tilted his wings and shot toward the ground and landed hard, his wings dissolving back into his Omen. He stood up and surveyed the land to the left of the road and began walking down it, soon he began running as a bleached, dead white tree came into view, he was soon shooting across the dead landscape and small, red, tendrils of energy started creeping their way along his body from his Omen, and he reached the tree he dived at it and shoot into it with an explosion of red energy.
