One Way Kiss Chase 3
Her POV
I walked to school the following day. It took me almost an hour, but it gave me time to think. The obvious thing- to apologize, but what next?
I felt tears coming to my eyes. I hurt him. The pain, it's a lot worse then what he never became more than friends with me, but that again is all my fault- I never pressured him. The tears were flowing, hot and wet. I angrily rubbed them away. It's all so confusing to me- these new thoughts and emotions, just wanting to be loved. He's done nothing wrong and yet I still hate him for it.
I stopped outside the school gates. Did I really want to face it all? Face him... his hurt. Did I really want to find out the truth?
The truth that I'm still in love with him.

His POV
She walked through the door, just like she did any other day. Her hair was swept by the wind and her eyes were glassy. I caught her eye and walked towards her. "Hey Kaylie. Do you want to talk?"
She looked at me and raised her eyebrows. "Make it quick, Wilson."
I tried to take her by the shoulder, but she just shrugged it off and glared at me. We stopped halfway down the corridor. "It's ok, you know. I got over what you did."
"Look, I'm sorry. It's just, I'm trying to get over you and it's not working. I still-"
I put my finger on her lips, tracing the outline of them. "I've always wanted to-"
I kissed her, full on. I wrapped my arms around her waist and let go. "-Kiss you."
"Well. That was nice." She pulled in for more.
I stopped her. "Friday, after school. Don't you have lessons now?"
She shrugged, "maybe."
I held her hand and lead her down the hall. "Come on, let's go."

Her POV
I got home in a love struck daze. His kiss still tingled on my lips. I watched as my brother, first sprawled on the sofa, and then throwing up his stomach contents. I climbed over him. "Out drinking again Tom? Get your life together. Wait till mum comes back..."
I stopped in my tracks. Mum was sitting at the table. "We need to talk Kaylie."
"What do you want now? Huh? You just leave! Leaving us with a note saying 'oh I'm leaving, by the way DAD'S GOT CANCER!'" I mimicked her fake high pitched voice. "You expect me to cope? Tom's been drinking every night and when's he's not he's high in an alley somewhere! You don't care anymore! You never did!"
"Darling, I do. It's just-"she started.
"What?! What now mum?"
"I've been having an affair."
I looked at her, opened mouthed. "Mum, dad's got cancer, you don't care? Tom's an alcoholic and I can't live like this anymore...Mum? We need you back, just for a while, its dad's last month's- he's only got 5 months left. Please mum, help. Just for a little while."
She sighed. "Ok, for a while. My relationship with Antoniou is down the drain..." she took a long sip from her wine glass.
"I'm serious. This has to be for us. To bring our family together."
She stood up and put her arms around me. "Ok, darling. This is for us."
"Thanks Mum. Say you'll be here for a long while. And no running off."
"It's ok. I'll be here for a long while."

His POV
It's been a few days since I asked her out. She seems happier in some senses, but the rest of the time she looks so sad. There's something wrong, that she's not telling me. If I really love her, I've got to know.
