You'd just finished your training. It had finally come. Your first mission. "(g/n) You are assigned to the planet Earth....." came the voice of Yellow Diamond. You sighed nodding as you start to walk over to your partner in crime.....Ruby. You hated her guts. Always bossing you around. You were sick and tired of it.
"Ruby! Get the hell away from me....." You growled shoving her away. For once she actually looked upset as if she was about to tell you something. You just shrugged it off like it meant nothing and went along trying to set up the ship correctly. It didn't help that Ruby wouldn't stop bothering you.
Finally you had enough. "RUBY WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST SHUT UP FOR FIVE MINUTES" She stared at you in shock. She hadn't known that you'd get mad. In fact you barely ever talked to her until now. "But (g/n)...." she stated. "I just wanted to say I'm glad we're on a mission together...." You glared at her silently. "Okay...." You finally said looking at the floor. "But please stop talking I need to get the ship ready for our mission. Ruby just nods eagerly watching you.
*1 week later*
The ship was now orbiting around the earth. "Ruby.......isn't it beautiful....." Ruby nodded "yes...(g/n) but not as beautiful as......" she suddenly stopped. "Beautiful as what?" you ask staring into her eyes. Ruby gulped but finally finishes the sentence. "You......" she looked away from you and starts to run away but you quickly put your hand on her shoulder.
"Ruby......I think you're beautiful too....." you smiled at her blushing slightly. Suddenly we both got a message from Yellow Diamond. "WHAT'S TAKING YOU TWO SO LONG?!?!" she shouted angrily at us. "Nothing! Because we aren't going to let you destroy the earth!" you state giving her a smirk. You cut off all communications with homeworld looking back at Ruby. "We're never going back...." Ruby smiled at you. "(g/n) I'm glad I got to come with you......any other gem would have just destroyed the earth......you decided to save it......" You smiled at the thought of it. You then gently kissed her following with a gentle embrace.
The two of you started to dance and before long there was a blinding light. The both of you fuse together into (f/n). Your eyes go wide in shock. This was never supposed to happen. But the both of you liked it. You were together at last. You set the ship on self destruct and take the escape pod down to earth. Into beach city where you become a member of the crystal gems.
