Must Be Fake (Nouis)

Chapter 2

***Louis's POV***

A month and a half, 42 days. That's how many days and months until my birthday. I was seriously considering making myself a 'Surprise' Birthday and say Lux organised it all. None of the boys know how to throw a good birthday and having a bad birthday is pretty pointless. I’m so excited, it’s so soon. My phone suddenly vibrated in my phone and it snapped me out of my thoughts.

Harry- Get back here soon, the boys are getting reckless.

Niall and I had been checking out houses for the past hour and every one of them were terrible.  None of the houses I would ever want Niall’s and I’s future in them. They were either too posh, Modern or broken down. I wish finding a house would be as easy and simple as being sassy. I know, I know. It never will be like that but it’s worth a try aye?

We walked around in circles for a while before walking to what looked like the middle of nowhere yet there was the most adorable cottage right in front of us. I fell in love with the cottage instantly; it was everything I have been looking for if not more. There was a rustic sign at the front of the cottage which read ‘avoir’ which I’m pretty sure if my translation is correct means must have in France. This must mean something, like it’s trying to tell me that this house is a must have for Niall and I.

I don’t think Niall noticed the house as I had to get his attention. “Hey Look? How about this one?” I asked quietly while I pointed up at the cottage that was in front of us. He didn’t say anything but he had that smile on his face like he wanted it in the same way I did. I whispered again quietly “I think this is the house for us” I glanced up at the house and I noticed he did the same thing. One last look before I suddenly remembered that we had to get back to the flat with the others as soon as possible. I let my hand grip tightly onto his hand and said sadly, “C’mon we promised the boys we would be back soon. Besides, we still need to do the shopping” I didn’t want to leave the house, I just wanted to move in at that very moment. I wanted this house so bad I know it was never going to happen, this house will never be mine and Ni’s so what’s the point in ever trying. I sighed quietly to myself as we walked back into the city.

We eventually got to the city within some time; I knew this would be a perfect time to get everyone’s Christmas presents before it gets too late and last minute. Niall had the smart idea of splitting up and checking out all the different shops. He was most likely getting my birthday present or something.

I started walking around the shops and my eyes flickered up to a swab of pigeons that were right in front of me. I continued walking as most of them flew off but there was one that was slowly following behind the others. It looked younger than all the others it was with. The young pigeon turned around and started walking up to me; it was like a limping sort of walk. It plonked down in front of me like it wanted to be picked up. It started chirping lightly and chewing at my shirt as I picked it up.

I quickly rushed to the nearest pet shop and got some food for the bird. I decided I was going to take the bird home and I was going to call him Kevin. I have no idea what the boys are going to do when they find out about Kevin but whatever it is going to be I’m sure it will be worth it.

So here is second chapter of what is going to be a drama filled story. I would usually have the chapters longer but I just wasn't feeling it today so its really short. Just saw a this is us ad and freaked out heaps! I really wanted to put in that with 'Kevin' Sorry if you don't like the idea but I just had to put it in. nojust1D Thankyou for being such a great fan and my inspiration for the early chapter.
