How do I hate life let me count the ways,
from my forced life to the end of my days,
how to quell my hatred undying,
without  a love to keep me from my tears never drying.

I beg for the release of that sweet summer sorrow,
taking me forth to the glorious tomorrow,
here I wait in baited breath,
aching for the sweet nothingness of death.

So here I stand in life unwanted,
While the people around me continue undaunted,
I plainly see the pain within,
And how they turn to drugs and gin.
