Summers PoV
The police are here, me and Autumn stand in the corner on the grey velvet sofas, trying to figure out why there taking our Uncle away from us. We try to get closer to hear but mum and dad push us back. Uncle P is now gone. "I can't stand this, I'm not going to stand here doing nothing while they take Uncle P away," I say. I stormed into the kitchen, there was only one police officer with mum and dad. "Right! I want to know what's going on!" Mum and dad looked shocked I raised my voice, come on, seriously.
The policeman then started to explain what was going on. He said they had found Petes jacket next to the body of Miss Clark.
I looked at Autumn. She looked at me. I knew she wanted to get out of here now.
We ran out the door and even though we could hear the policeman calling us back. We keep running. We ran up the beach until we couldn't even see our house.
We had to stop and catch our breath, so we sat down on the cold stones and looked out the sea, not saying anything.
School was horrible. Everyone was shouting at us saying that we might be murderers too. I started to loose my temper. Autumn could tell I was annoyed and tried to stop me, but it was too late. I had already started shouting and cursing. I hate the rumours. Something has to be done. Something needs to be done. I can't stand it, nor can Autumn. Someone needs to stop all these rumours. Pete couldn't have killed Clark, right?! I'm scared.
The next day me and Autumn wanted to ask Mr Garnaval if he could stop all the rumours.
Once we had gone down all the long white hallways, we got to his office and stopped. His door was barely open. However it was enough to see what he was doing. He put a knife, covered in fresh blood, in his cupboard under the desk.
I looked at Autumn. She was still watching Mr Garnaval. She was going to scream I know it.
To be honest I have never heard Autumn sound so scared in her life, even more scared than when I told her a scary story, and she wouldn't go to sleep.
"Shut up Autumn!" I shouted, but it was too late. Mr Garnaval turned around and saw us watching him. There was no beach to escape to now.
He pulled us into his office "How much did you see," he asked quietly, he asked politely but the way it sounded, wasn't.
We were too stunned to say anything.
"How much did you see!" He was screaming at us now. "We've seen enough." I say back, whenever you're in a situation like this, you must always have a confident voice. "Yeah," Autumn took me by surprise, "You're the real murderer!"
