"Mommy no!" A little girl around 2 yells as the woman is tackled to the ground by the much bigger wolf. The girl's mother tells her to run and hide but something holds her there. She can't leave. She can't turn away.
Then as if out of nowhere another huge wolf jumps out of the forest and is coming at her. But her father pushes her out of the way at the last second and takes the blow for her.
"Daddy!" The little girl cried out as the rogue wolf slammed her father's body into the ground.
"Run Rosie! Run!" The little girl's father was barely hold off the larger wolf as he screamed at his daughter. As much as the girl knew she should run, she didn't want to. Instead she hid in a Lilac bush. Lilac bushes can hide a wolf's scent from other so she knew she wouldn't be found. Peeking through the bushes she saw the rogues again. Her parents were cornered. There was no escaping this. The rogue wolves pounced on her parents ripping her parents throats out. Blood splattered everywhere. It went past the bush all over the little girl's face...
I woke up with a start. This reoccurring nightmare was never ending. Maybe if I had stayed away from the forest that day.. None of this would have happened. After all, it is my fault my parents were killed.
