introduction

    I started my day like any other day . Showered , wiped my face , did my hair , and brushed my teeth. Had a long day of work ahead of me but only God got me. I heard my the drier stop and I grabbed my work clothes. 8 hours shifts about 45 hours a week. It can get stressful but I'm the only one paying my bills. I live in my apartment by myself . I'm 21 , female , 5'3 so I'm average height ... For a teenager. I got dressed and grabbed my house keys and wallet and walked out the house for work . I walked down the block and reached the corner . I stood there waiting on the bus to come pick me up. I've been saving up for a car. Thankful I've almost saved enough to buy one .
       I looked across the street and I saw a couple of dudes from the ASVP gang aka Rocky's gang. Rocky tried talking to me once before but he's not my type. He tries sweet talking me but my mama always told me "the streets ain't the place to be" before she died . I miss my mama man. My older brother Chris was killed being in a gang. He had so much ahead of him . Had a full scholarship to college too but he let it go for the streets.
      I saw Rocky's car pull up at the corner and he got out . I politely turned the other way to avoid him but it didn't seem to work . I began to walk away from him and he began to walk towards me. I'm not going to lie , I'd fuck with Rocky but I don't wanna be heart broken . He only mess with girls for sex anyways. I turned the corner and saw the bus coming so I walked to the stop and got on the bus.
I sat in the back of the bus, second to last seat, on the right like I usually do and watched Rocky smirk and turned back towards his car. I pulled out my phone and checked my notifications. 10 minutes later the bus pulled up to Franklin Dr. and I got off to go into work . Today was bout to be a long busy day.
