Chapter 18
After the whole deal with my sister I headed upstairs to my shared room to go to sleep when I walked in the room I saw jacob laying on the bed staring at the ceiling I walked over to his dresser and pulled out one of his shirts
I looked back at him to see he was staring at me with what looked like adoration and lust I walked over to the bed slowly getting undressed and then slipping on his shirt I walked over to the bed and and laid down feeling defeated even though the council had sent her here I still didn't know if she was safe with the weight of my very heavy world on my shoulders I began to cry which eventually turned into sobbing .I felt arms being wrapped around me and I was immediately calmed by jacobs amazing scent he lifted my head and I looked into his eyes to see sadness " why are you crying " he asked " "because ....because I feel alone" " well you're not ok because im going to take care of you "he kissed the top of my head and pulled me close to him and with that I fell into a dreamless yet comfortable sleep .
