Toothless sprang onto the dragon as Hiccup ran to the tree, but he knew he and Toothless would have to leave soon. This dragon is definitely protecting something. But what?
He couldn't answer the question himself. He'd have to find out. But exploring was his thing; right? I just hope this doesn't get me killed. He thought with a sharp jab to the heart.

He rolled his eyes at his absolutely ridiculous thought. Of course I'll be fine.
He stood up and ran into the darkening woods; but it wasn't long before he spotted a shiny, large, blue orb.
The egg was beautiful. It was no doubt the dragon, the one Toothless was holding off, was the mother.

Hiccup walked to it slowly, as if expecting another dragon to pop out and attack him as well.
What shocked him is that not one leaf stirred. No wind, and no sound -except the fighting dragons- echoed through the trees.
It was quiet.....
Too quiet....
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THAT IM SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING IN A LONG TIME. I WENT ON AN INACTIVE STREAK ON BOTH OF THE ACCOUNTS I RUN. I HAVENT EVEN UPDATED ANY OF MY MAIN ACCOUNTS' BOOKS RECENTLY AND I FEEL SO BAD! I DEFINITELY WILL TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE BUT PLEASE DONT KILL ME.
