Wow it's really hard to believe that these days on the famous female boxer try and then hold my head up high and doing what I gotta do and everything which is good and I'm grateful to the people that help me out because if they knew about my home life and they really want to show me the way that there's more to life than what I was living and I'm grateful for that because I never thought I'd get this far and he would have thought along the way I would have fell in love with one of the world's most famous boxers so a lot of people say they were a power couple and boxing and you know what we wouldn't trade it for the world boxing is what makes us who we are people think being a boxer is just fun and beating up people there's more to it than that it's a form of discipline and everything like that you don't just use it for going out fighting for no reason at all and I learned that the right way I never thought that I can make it through my life or anything in that I thought people were going to keep me down and never really had anything to believe them but then when I found boxing and found the love of my life it showed me that I was a fighter at heart

Forgot to introduce myself my name is Kate Stevens and this is the story how I went from being a girl just trying to get by and survive to be in the fight and survive our heart that I am today and it wasn't for a certain boxer by the name of Zayn Malik it was now my husband thank God I don't know where I would have been but it took her so long long time to get this way because my life was not easy in the beginning but he showed me the way this is my story how I went from a girl we didn't know what to do to a fighter I Heart Like I said

It all started about four or five years ago anyway this is my story I remember it like it was yesterday the day that I found a way out but the beginning of of that day was disaster

I was living at home with my mother then and my father the thing was that my father is very controlling it was one of those men that make you do it his way or that way you know what I mean the type of father father didn't give a s*** would rather beat the s*** out of your mother make you do things that you know what I mean because you never really wanted kids to begin with anyone Put Your Mother Down even though you said you love her one day I took you for and beat your mother to the pope at the things

Like I said I remember that day like it was yesterday

Just got home from school with my friends tell my friends that can go and hang out with them later on right after school they said you don't do anything when it's hardly it's a as it if he had told you I don't think you would want to hang around me

Kate cuz you know I can't go hang out with you after school because you know the way my father gets that's what I meant by when I said if I told you you don't know what would happen

Maxine you gotta try to get out of that situation Kate that's not good and I know you love your mother and that's why you're sticking around to be there for her and try to keep her from getting in over your head and get her out of this week's tuition because she loves you too it's just you got the wrong type of thing going on with the way your father treat you guys I mean just last week didn't you and your mother have to stay over at my house

Kate yeah I had to stay over your house and everything I just wish I had something to believe in you know I mean I go home I lock myself in my room and I turned watching sports and everything and that on TV you know I'm a bit of a tomboy at heart I like to watch things like boxing and everything like that for some reason this just something that helps me get through my day because it makes me think of you know passing on my father to get revenge for what he put us through there's no way and you know I just can't walk away without the proof of what he's doing you girls have seen the marks and everything and then I'll meet you there but you could have solid evidence to get out of this situation

Sarah I understand where you're coming from and everything but just know that we're here if you need it listen we're going to go but you be careful if things got way out of hand you run and we don't know where you go if you can't get to us you just run into yourself cuz there's no way you should stay in that situation give us a call then let us know that you're on the right and so I know you're okay cause you've got to find someplace to go but if you can't call right away call soon because you don't want us to think anything happen to you he's good we're just saying when it comes to your life you need to survive and don't feel like you're worthless after time is that still your father treats you because you're not

That was the only thing that was ever good about my life back in my own town at the time was that my best friends from school believe me and trust me and I've always been there for me cuz I grew up with them and their parents of kind of noticed things with my dad but they did what they could for me I mean they couldn't do anything without proof or anything like that and every time they try to get the proof of my father would always know always doing something that looked like he wasn't so yeah so they told me if it ever came down to it I had to run to just do it my mother's ever said same thing to me as well because she'd rather give her life for me and then anything little did I know that that day I was going to have to run when I walk through the door I saw my father pulled a gun and shoot my mother that was the last straw he turn to shoot me but I ran away now what do I do

Kate mum I'm home

Kate mum. it out of here before it's too late your father's on the Rampage I don't know what he's going to do

Kate dad I'll show you what I'm going to do what's the trigger and shoots her mother now that your mother's gone and your chin you brat cuz I can have the life I want because I got stuck into being with you too

But before you can do anything I went out the door and I ran as fast as I could I didn't know where I was going and next thing I knew I was running so fast that I had to keep looking back and I ran for about 3 days before I thought somewhere else then I'm going to call one of my friends and tell her what happened she was relieved that I got out of there but she said she was going to place a bet with my father again to my mother I was over 18 so I could be on my own but the thing is I had to figure out what I'm going to do now I said I get back to town when I could but little do they know that I've been walking the streets and these good people would jump out of nowhere and tried to jump me but little did I know that I had to get saved but among my most famous boxers out there and my favorite one but I know eventually that he would come to love of my life and I would meet him little did I know that he would teach me there's a whole new life out there
