Description
"Please. Don't leave me. You've impacted my life way too much already."
❃❃❃❃❃❃❃
Skylar Jones mainly keeps to herself, she's quiet because she chooses to, and because there is always a pool of nervousness in her stomach. Skylar does well in school, loves her family dearly, but sometimes just wants a way out of her life.
Enter Mason Wells. Mason also keeps to himself most of the time, but once taking an interest in someone, he will be the most annoying person you've ever met. Slightly cocky, a bit of a bad boy, and new to the neighbourhood.
For some unknown reason, they are shoved together and forced to socialise on many different occasions. Will this be the start of something perfect, or the start of something doomed to end badly?
Introduction
The soothing smell of vanilla beans wafts over me. Darkness is all I see as I step into my room, arms welcoming the coldness of the air. Soft patters of rain lure me to the window, as I sit to look outside at the night sky, my mind clears. Which each drop of rain, every worry, dark thought and problem of mine disappears, draining out of my mind like water from a bath, when the plug is pulled. I wonder of the beautiful things in the world; the vibrant colours of butterflies in Spring, the way birds make the most beautiful songs. The deep and beautiful lyrics people create, how people take such pride in their stories. All these pure thoughts fill me, and for once I feel satisfied.
But then the rain stops, and the dark thoughts replace the pure. The worries come back, laughing as they watch my own rain fall. Tears roll down my cheeks, and I ask myself a question...
"When will it end?"
A/N
Very short introduction, but hi! I've decided to start a new story, which should be interesting.
I'll keep this brief, so here we go.
This story may have mature themes in some chapters, so I'll put a warning at the start if I need to. I will try to update every week or two, but no promises.
I hope this story turns out well! I will have the first chapter up when i get back from camp, in exactly a week.
I hope you guys enjoy this! I'd love to read your opinions on the introduction.
Till next time,
Chloe xx
