She lay there in her bed, collecting her tears
Wondering why she had been alive all these wasted years!
Was she fat or was she pretty?
Was she ugly or was she skinny?
She had no clue who to believe, her mum, her dad or what she could see?

It saddened her that they didn't care.
They didn't comfort her just left her there.
Friends are false, sisters are rude, brothers are mean, parents think you're in a mood.

This pain i feel in my head,
it's real! It's real! That I said.
They fobbed me off, go away.
You're just a teen, stupid anyway.

These words hurt, they may not be meant
But it's how we take them, they form a dent!
This dent gets larger with every word...
"You're a whore, you're a bitch" that's all I heard.

I don't understand you say show respect.
But you treat us like babies, you treat us like less.
We are all human beings whether old or young!
"Respect your elders or bite your tongue!"
U make no sense because if you were me...
You would tell me to respect you!
Don't you see??

You think you're more but really you're aren't.
You're the same as me but no I can't!
I can't swear and call you names but you think u can, u think it's okay!!!
