Chapter 5

The next day Ashley went shopping for some new clothes. Kris was at home signing some paperwork he had to finish. Suddenly Ash got a text from her dad saying, " I know you're probably having a good time in NY, but your mom is really sick." Ashley immediately got a cab and went home. She called Kris and told him she had to go back to England to take care of her mom. Kris didn't hesitate at all he immediately booked a flight with Ashley. 

*Over the phone*

Ash: We'll be there for about a week or so

Kris it's okay anything for your family

Ash: thanks

Kris: Our flight is tomorrow so we should pack

Ash: Okay

*20 minutes later*

Kris took Ash out for lunch….

Ash: You know you didn't need to go with me to England you could've stayed here.

Kris: I'd rather miss work and go with you 'cause I want to meet your parents and take care of your mom.

Ash: *looks down and smiles*

*After lunch*

It's about 4 in the afternoon. Kris and Ash decided to go to the park to feed the birds. 

Kris: You know it isn't everyday where we can just sit down and do things like this.

Ash: I cherish every moment with you.

Ash: *puts her head on Kris's shoulder*

Kris: *looks at Ash and smiles*

Ash: *gets up and asks a stranger to take a picture of them*

Ash: Thanks

Kris: Can I see the picture?

Ash: Sure, it's it great?

Kris: Yup

*About an hour later*

Ashley calls her dad and ask how mom was doing, he said she's getting better. 

*On the phone with her dad*

Ash: I'll be there in about 2 days dad

Dad: Oh, Ash you didn't have to

Ash: I want to visit you guys and I want you guys to meet my boyfriend Kris.

Dad: You met someone already? Well I'll be glad to see him

Ash: He's a wonderful person

Dad: Well I have to go I'll see you soon

Ash: Okay dad bye

Dad: Bye.

*The next morning*

Kris and Ashley met at the airport and went to get some breakfast before they boarded the plane. After eating they went to the gateway.

Kris: So how's your mom doing?

Ash: My dad said she's getting better

Kris: Well I'm excited to meet your family

Ash: I wonder what my dad is gonna think of you cause he's glad to meet you.

Kris: *smiles*

After waiting in the line to board the plane they found there seats. They sat next to each other on the flight to England. During the plane ride they basically slept throughout the entire flight. ( I know I'm just lazy to write more dialogue )

*About 8 hours later*

They arrive at the airport in Manchester. Ash and Kris went to go find her friend that promised to pick them up from the airport.

*About 5 minutes of searching*

Kylie: *screams* ASHLEYYY OVER HERE

Ashley saw her and walked over to her, Kris followed behind.

Ashley and Kylie hugged each other for a few minutes until Kylie noticed Kris in the back just looking at them.

Kylie: Who's your gentleman friend?

Ash: Oh this is my bf Kris

Kylie: Nice to meet you Kris I'm Kylie

Kris: Nice to meet you Kylie

Kylie: Guys put your stuff in the trunk and get in the car I'll take you to Ash's parents' house.

*After the 20 min. car ride*

Ashley's dad was waiting at the front door waiting for them to arrive. Kris was the first to get out of the car, he took a glance at the house and went to open the door for Ashley.

Kylie opened the trunk and helped get their bags out. Ash's dad walked to the car the greet everyone.

Kris: Hello Sir, you must be Ashley's dad it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Kris

Ash's dad: It's really nice to meet you Kris, so you're my daughter's bf?

Kris: Yes indeed.

Ash: So I see you've met Kris

Ash's dad: Yes I have, you seem like a good guy Kris, but I still have my eye on you.

Kris: Yes sir, I won't do anything wrong.

Ash's dad: So how's college Kylie?

Kylie: A pain in the butt, but I'm on break so I don't need to fuss with it

Kylie: Well it was nice meeting you guys I'll be back to take you guys out for dinner.

Kris: Bye Kylie!

Ash: Baii Kylie
