Chapter 1: She Found Out.

Tony looks at Steve. Steve looks at Tony. They are standing outside Tony's room in the Avengers Tower.
"Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve."
Steve sighed. He was fed up with it already.
"What?" He asks tiredly.
"I love you." Tony whispers
Steve stares at Tony for a bit. He is feeling it again. He doesn't want the feeling to come  back, but something inside tells him he has to. He hates the beginning of it, but loves every minute afterwards, until the end that is. It just feels so good.
"Me too." He says confidently. Tony lunges for him and almost jumpes into his open arms. Steve put his arms around Tony's waist and Tony put his on the Captains back. They start kissing frantically, as if their lives depend on it. 2am. Steve fumbles with a free hand, for the handle on Tony's bedroom door and opens it quickly. He shoves the door and they stumble inside. Tony used his foot to shut the door with a bang, turning his attention back to Steve. It is a miracle no one heard the commotion. They felt like nothing could come between them. Not even an emergency. They continued for a minute until Tony broke off to lock his door and Steve took his shirt off. Tony hadn't felt like this since Pepper's last visit. He feels like Pepper has abandoned him in favour of Rhodes. Sometimes he really hates Rhodes, and Pepper. But now he's found someone else to have fun with. Steve may be a senile old super soldier, but he's learned in the past few months and love was too much for the old man.

Tony and Steve together. Clint had tried to spy on them twice, but Tony had taken extra precautions to guarantee they were not seen in the same bedroom, or the same bed. He had sensors all over the place including his room and the hallway outside his room. Not even Clint Barton, master sneaker, could escape the prying eyes of JARVIS, Tony had made sure of that. Plenty of questions had been asked by the rest of the team, including Nick Fury and Phil Coulson. In fact, Bruce had been asking most of the questions to his science bro, even though he said he wasn't interested in Tony's love life's. Natasha, thankfully, didn't ask many questions of the two boys, nor did she attempt to spy on them, the main reason being that she didn't want to venture into that forsaken area of Tony's life. She also new that trying to spy on Tony and Steve only resulted in a cautionary zap from one of the many lasers Tony had given Jarvis control of. Spying on Tony is a thing you only do once, but Clint didn't take the hint, even though Natasha had warned him several times, that the next time he tries to spy on the two, that he may not be able to dodge the next laser beam. But as he's Clint, he didn't heed Natasha's warning, and this time JARVIS actually hit him, just skinning Clint's arm, giving him a long but rather thin burn. He went to the infirmary to assess the damage. He thought he would get bundles of sympathy from the Black Widow, but was sorely disappointed when Natasha simply glared at him and said,
"I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so."
Tony knew what had happened when he finally saw Hawkeye, who had been avoiding him, and the burn mark on his arm. Tony just sniggered and walked off.

Linking again, they are happy being alone together. Steve takes Tony's top off and locked together they continue. Tony slowly inches his hand down Steve's back, relishing every kiss, every action of love to each other and Steve is having a similar experience. They climb into Tony's double bed, enjoying themselves immensely, pulling the covers over them. After a couple more minutes of constant snogging and a few grunts they relax, warmth flowing between them. Tony starts running his hand through the Captains hair and Steve strokes Tony's cheek. After a bit more snogging they finally get to sleep, Tony, with his head buried in Steve's shoulder, and Steve, with his arm around Tony's waist.

Tony is rather alarmed when his phone rings at 11am. It's Pepper. He looks at Steve still sleeping soundly, admiring how handsome he is. Steve is cute when he's asleep, his chest rising and falling slowly. Tony watches him for a second, and still half asleep, puts his phone to his ear, only to jerk his hand back when Pepper starts screaming at him.
"TONY!!" She shouts"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!?!" She demands"IVE BEEN WAITING FOR OVER HALF AN HOUR!!" Pepper is fuming.
"Wait, what?" Tony answers tiredly"Waiting for wha... Oh. Um, sorry."He mumbles remembering where he is meant to be.
"Sorry?! SORRY?!?! SORRY DOESN'T CUT IT GENIUS!!!! YOU WERE MEANT TO BE HERE AT HALF PAST TEN TONY" Steve moans loudly in his sleep.
"Hang on a sec ," Pepper says with a dangerous tone." Is there someone else there with you?" Tony searches for an answer, straining to think in his sleepy state,
"N-no" he stutters.
"Don't you lie to me, Tony. I can tell by your tone that someone else is there. Wait. Are you still in bed?" Her voice is accusing, like Tony has done something wrong." Is that... STEVE!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING IN YOUR BED TONY?!?! Have you been cheating on me, with a man. OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!! YOUR FUCKING GAY?!?! AND YOU DIDN'T THINK TO TELL ME? WE'VE SLEPT TOGETHER TONY!!!! WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING!!!! ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY!!!!"
"Pepper, I-I can explain..." He begins to argue, but is cut off by Peppers next words.
"No Tony. I've had enough of your fucking excuses. We're finished. Goodbye." She hangs up on him. Tony sits there, still trying to process what just happened, his mouth open in shock after the tirade of words that had come from Pepper.
" I didn't know Pepper was capable of being that angry." He mumbles.
He finally gathers his thoughts and his stomach rumbles, so he decides to have some late breakfast. He leaves Steve to sleep as he knows a full nights sleep for Steve, is a very rare thing.
Tony goes down to the kitchen for some well needed coffee.
"Jarvis, make me a cup of coffee will you." He yawns.
"Of course sir." Replied the AI." And how would you like your coffee this morning?"
"Extra strong, no milk, no sugar." Tony mumbles.
"Late night then sir? You were with Steve last night, weren't you?" Jarvis questions him.
"Mmm."Tony replies quietly
" In fact, I believe Steve is on his way down now." Tony nods.
'Thanks Jarvis." He says.
" Your welcome, sir."
Tony goes over to grab his coffee from the coffee machine, as the elevator door opens, and out comes Steve tiredly.
"Morning beautiful." Steve says.
"Morning." Tony looks miserable
"What's up?" Steve asks his lover. He knows something is wrong.
"Pepper. She called me this morning." Tony states" I was meant to meet her for brunch, but I forgot. And now she's pissed at me because I slept with you." Steve gives Tony a look that says ' how'd she know?' And Tony answers "She heard you moan this morning and figured I slept with you. She shouted at me for a bit, before telling me we were finished and hung up." Steve feels a little angry at Tony for not telling Pepper, but that anger quickly disappears as he sees how sorry and miserable Tony is.
"So you didn't tell her that your gay even though I told you to?" Steve asks. Tony nods in reply.
"Oh well. At least she knows now. But she is definitely going to slap you when she sees you. I would avoid her if I was you."
"I'll try my best." Tony says
"You know Tony, we should tell the rest of the avengers about us being gay. And together. Now Pepper's dumped you though, we can make it official."
"Yeah, I suppose so." Tony replies
Steve is way more awake than his partner and so he decides to make brunch for them. Before he starts though he had to find out where the others were.
"Jarvis, where are the other Avengers?" After living in the Tower for so long, he had become more accustomed to the constant presence of the AI and was used to him by now.
"Thor left earlier with Jane Foster, to Asgard, Hawkeye and Black Widow are on a covert mission for SHEILD and Dr Banner is in the lab making something." Jarvis replies
"Thanks Jarvis."
"Your welcome sir."
"Go and see what Bruce is doing, Tony, and ask him if he wants any brunch." Tony nods and goes off to the lab.
