The Accident

Hair was in my face, my eyes were blurry. Tears rolled down my cheeks creating puddles of water on the crumpled floor.
                  

"Mam?" I ask in confusion, "What are you doing in here!"
"Jess, I've got something to tell you. It's really important!" Tears start to form in her eyes as she looked down at her hands, fiddling with them in hesitation. "Beth's... Beth's been missing for two days now. I know you thought that she was on holiday, we only told you that because we thought that she would come back today but she's not been in contacted at all." She takes a deep breath then slowing raises her head and looks straight towards me.
        Wait... what's going on! I'm dizzy but I feel like banging my head against a brick wall till I collapse and forget all about this. She can't be gone! No she's not, she's just at Chloe's, she's always there. But I thought that she'd tell her mam before hand.
                         Just before noon I get the courage to get out of bed. I'm to worried to eat so I get dressed into my jumper and denim jeans.  I don't bother with my hair, all I want to do is find out what is happening about Beth. The only way to do that is to go down to the police.
