Alexis Carpenter
"Alex!"
My eyes shot opened and I found myself groaning and getting up from the floor. I looked up seeing my mother with a bucket of water. The bucket was in the air and I felt a single drop of water on my forehead.
"Alexis Zora Candace Carpenter, I told you to wake up for the tenth time." My mother scolded. I rolled my eyes at the name my parents gave me. I mean its so girly. "Roll your eyes one more time." She warns.
I placed my hands up in surrender. I sat up on my bed sitting chris-cross applesauce. Hey! No judge. I looked at her seeing what she wanted on a SATURDAY!
"What day is it?" She asks me while crossing her arms.
"Saturday?" I answered sounding like a question.
"Date?"
"April 30?"
"Its your cousin's birthday."
"Shit! Serena is gonna hate me for forgetting her birthday." I said running my hands down my face. I looked back up seeing her gone.
I ran to the bathroom and hopped into the shower. I turned on the shower. I felt like I was forgetting something. I looked down my body and realized I didn't take off my clothes. My clothes are all damp. I stripped out of them and take a shower.
I got out of the shower and put on a robe and a towel for my hair. I rushed to the sink and brushed my teeth. I didn't care how fast it was. My teeth was already white. I washed the foam out of my house and cleaned my face.
I walked more like ran to my closet to get a outfit. I grabbed plaid shirt with black jean shorts. I let my hair curly and loose. Grabbing my blue converses, I was out my door heading downstairs.
"Hey Zane." I continued walking and then stopped, turning around to see him. "Zane? What are you doing here?"
"Why does it sound like your hiding something from me?" He questions.
"Answer mine first." He walked to me and placed his hands on my waist.
"I wanted to be the first person my girlfriend sees in the morning." He says as her places and small kiss on my forehead.
"Too late. My mother was the first person I saw in the morning." I smirked. He placed a small kiss on my smirked lips. My smirk soon turned to a smile.
"Now, why does it sound like your hiding something from me?"
"Sorry. My mother just told me that its my cousin's birthday." I grabbed an apple and bit it. "I have to get her a gift."
"I'll come with you." I nodded and threw my apple in the trash once I was finished. I grabbed my phone and purse.
I followed Zane to the car and got in.
~
I finally got her a gift. It was a necklace with thrpe letter 'S' with patterned clear and light purple diamonds.
We arrived to the party and everyone stopped when they saw us holding hands.
"Everyone, I want you to know that Zane and I are dating."
"Yay!" Zaden ran to us. "My two favorite people are together." He hugged our legs.
"We are happy for you." Most of them cheered. I saw Serena walking with Colby towards us.
"Happy birthday cuz!" I said hugging her.
"Look, Colby got me a beanie!" She shouted.
"How much?" I asked.
"$50. What did you get her? Oh wait, nothing. Because you forgot her birthday."
"Don't talk to my girlfriend like that." Zane said putting an arm on my waist
"Mine's is 1,000 better."
I opened the velvet box making all widen their eyes.
"Alex, I can't take it." She protested.
"Serena, its what I can do for forgetting your birthday. Colby help her. Careful, don't break it. Its very expensive." I smirked.
"Beautiful." He complaints her, making her blush.
"Yuck! Romance."
I sat on the couch with Zane next to me. I placed my head on his shoulder. I did good.
------------
Sorry, for the short chapter. I wrote a longer one but it somehow left on to the part I did yesterday. I didn't want to spend more time writing more even because I have to write a damn essay.
~Lia.
P.S.- I'm changing Serena to that girl on the side.
