Fashion Girl

On the 25th of June was the start of Rachel’s school holidays and the other exciting thing was it was her birthday. Rachel ran as fast as she could to get home and get ready. Once she got home her parents were looking sad, but who knows why. Rachel asked “Mum, Dad why are you so gloomy today? You can’t be, it’s my birthday and I really hope you remembered.” There was no response at first and then it came out, finally. “ Umm, sweetheart we are so sorry for this but your father and I have our work shifts changed and we have to go to work but I promise that once we’re back we will stay up late and cut the cake. I promise.” That’s what her mum said.

Rachel went straight to her room after those horrible words came out. Her dad came in and apologised for the quick changes. After a long talk on her bed, Rachel agreed to go with her dad to his work. Rachel’s dad is the assistant owner of a shoe shop in the city; the shops name is Le Cavire Shoes. It is the best shoe shop in the state (nearly). After a few hours of boredom the excitement ran down Rachel’s whole body.

That was because her dream came true; getting Kaytlen Landmain to come into one of her families shop and whatever. Kaytlen was looking for some shoes to go with her clients clothes because she was famous for being the best fashion icon in the world. Rachel could not say a word out of her mouth that never ever stops babbling but now..

Kaytlen came to Rachel and asked her “Excuse me, umm can you please tell me where the cutest pair of high heels there are in this shop?” Rachel was off finding them but without saying out a word. Finally Rachel’s dad came and took care of it and that was the same time as Rachel was about to speak to her role model! While Kaytlen was waiting to get her bag she looked around and saw a beautiful set of dresses and then came the question “Where did you get these dresses from?” Rachel’s dad just said   ”My daughter over there made all these dresses, she really loves designing.” Kaytlen was very astonished by looking at the dresses and then Rachel.

Kaytlen had decided that she would come back with some paper work to ask Rachel’s dad if Rachel could go into the fashion business and check out how it works but maybe with a different name and everyone would have to find out who Rachel really is because she will have no photos of her face. Rachel’s dad told Rachel with excitement to tell her what he said to Kaytlen. Rachel with astonishment said “What, why…why did you do that. I probably know what she said’ those are horrible clothes’ so that’s what I think she said.” Of course her dads’ response would be completely different to what his daughter just said.
