When Kaya gets home, she puts her stuff down and looks out the window and sees the three boys again. She over-heard them say something about the principal being the murderer.Kaya steps back and calls Mizuki and Mito and says she overheard the boys say that the principal was the murderer. Mizuki and Mito said ''WHAT" at the same time with their eyes wide open. Kaya nods and says that she thinks that he did it too, and they should go look for clues, Mizuki and Mito agree and they all walk over to the principal's house. They arrive and they look for an entrance into the house, they see an open window on the second floor. They look around for a way up, they see a drain pipe and they climb it and enter the window, then noticed that they are in a big closet with lots of boxes. They quietly peek out the closet door and they see the principal sleeping on his bed, then they quietly slip past him and they exit his room and enter a long hallway. Mizuki whispers saying that she has a bad feeling about doing this, and then the girls shush her and they proceed down the stairs then they enter a living room, spot a door that they think is the way to the basement. Kaya opens the door and they proceed down the wooden steps into a dark room, and Mito almost screams when she ran into a light bulb cord she thought was a spider, but Mizuki covers her mouth and Mito calms down. They turn on the light revealing that the basement is filled with animal corpses and meat hanging everywhere. The girls become very shocked and start looking around but as they were, they heard a humming voice that sounded like the principal coming down the stairs. The girls quickly hide and they see the principal in a blue robe walking towards a painting behind a wall, but the girls can't see him but they heard beeping sounds 5 times and then it sounded like something opening and then after a few minutes, they heard something shut and they heard 5 more beeps, and the principal walked back up the stairs. They all came out and sighed in relief, then Kaya walks behind the wall and sees nothing but boxes and a large painting, but then she became very curious and moved the painting to reveal a hidden safe in the wall. None of the girls knew the combination but Mito had some baby power and sprinkled it on the keypad. The numbers that had fingerprints on them were 1-7-4-9-3, so they girls tried a few times and they figured out that the combination was 9-1-3-4-7. They opened the safe and they found receipts for a meat shop, then the girls exchanged looks while they read the receipts. They figured out that this place wasn't a slaughterhouse, but it was the meat shop that these receipts were from. Then they put the receipts back in the safe, closed it, and entered the passcode again. They went up the stairs and peeked out the door, but they didn't see anyone, so they quickly exited the basement, ran to the front door, and left the house.
