In my days of traveling, I've seen a lot of death. Some were good;death of a villain.Others were bad; a hero who meets their end. But what if a normal person was about to be killed by a villain but, becomes the hero from a single organ transplant-the donor being the villain. I remember visiting some version of Tokyo. The streets weren't as busy as usual. I was in front of a coffee shop by the name of Yoshimura. It felt like a good spot to start so i headed inside. The air was filled with the scent of coffee and had a feeling of peacefulness. I walked to an empty seat in the back. I passed a woman. When i passed by her i froze and slowly turned to her . She had purple hair, wore glasses and was reading a book. I had a strange feeling from her-a bad aura. Something was hidden in that innocent face of hers.
"Do you need something?" she asks turning to me.
"No..no, you just reminded me of someone" I lied. I quickly walked away to the empty seat. A waitress soon came by to take my order. She had bluish hair and wore it covering one eye. Strangely she had a similar aura to the lady with glasses. It wasn't like the lady with glasses, it felt.....safer?
It was confusing but, i ignored it and ordered a coffee. As my coffee was served i noticed a black haired boy had approached the woman with glasses.
I over heard their conversation. The boy's name was Kaneki and the woman with glasses was Rize. They were both talking about a book they both were reading. Soon enough, Rize had to leave and Kaneki suggested he should walk with her. They both left the shop. I was about to chase after them when i noticed something. The sandwiches Rize had ordered were left uneaten. The waitress that took my order was also eyeing them for some reason. I paid for the coffee and left the coffee shop. I followed them. I kept a good amount of distance between me and them. I don't really have a good reason why but, i had a feeling it was a good idea to follow them. After a long while they approached an intersection. The sun was down and it was getting late.
"I have to go this way. Maybe we can see each other tomorrow?" Rize asks Kaneki.
"No it's getting, how about i escort you all the way to your home?" asks Kaneki
"Oh, someone trying to be my Prince Charming?" Riza asks with a giggle. Kaneki blushes as the two walk down the alley. They continued to walk until they were near a steel structure of some sort. They close the gap between each other.
"I'm glad you came, but..." Rize looks over to Kaneki's shoulder. Her eye glowed a dark shade of red. She....she...God i can't even say it.
SHE BITES INTO KANEKI'S SHOULDER!
He stumbles back, clutching his bleeding shoulder. I try to run to him and help him. I was suddenly held back by an invisible wall.
"Dammit now's not the time!"
Kaneki runs into the construction yard for cover as Rize unveils her true form.
I couldn't do anything. I heard some crashing and screams. I willed myself to pass through the wall. I was free and immediately ran to see what happened. Pipes fell upon Rize and Kaneki. *Crash* I ran to them and checked their pulses. Rize was dead and Kaneki was still breathing-badly hurt though. I call 911 and direct them to the construction yard, telling them an accident had occured. I look up and see a mysterious figure in a cloak. The figure begins to run away. I chase after it. I soon was near enough to grab at the figure. I grab at the cloak revealing the assailant to be....I awaken in my bed.
Dang i was so close as well.....Hopefully Kaneki is fine..
