"Great let's go!" Katie said.
I looked behind me just to make sure that no one was following us.

We sat down on the floor, our backs leaning on the lockers. I started talking.

"Alright so first things first" I said. "I chose to come to school for our little pep talk because I love school".
They looked at me with disgust and shock.
"I know that you might think that I'm crazy or something but the truth is that I like school. I like it because I'm away from home". Their jaws dropped and I rolled my eyes. "I like it because I don't have to be near my family(dad and mom)". "Don't get me wrong I love them with all my heart but I also hate them". "Well I hate when they argue and lose their tempers". "It gets me so annoyed and angry that they keep arguing every single day and I feel like it's all my fault". "My dad doesn't give a fuck and he knows that he's annoying mom". "My mom knows that he's trying to annoy her but she keeps on fighting". "I just wish the would stop-at least for a day". "Like I need some time for myself".

"What about the gunshots we just heard?" Katie asked.

"Oh right. Those gunshots were made by my father. When he gets too annoyed at my mom and just wants everyone to shut the fuck up, he shoots and yells shut up like ten times". "This terrifies my mom real bad, and she's starting to get paranoid. That's the reason why my dad does that, to get her paranoid and send her somewhere else".

"Oh my God- I... I'm so sorry for you and your family" Lindsey said with sorrow.

"Wait so you just live throughout this?? And don't even say a thing???" Katie asked.

"Well yeah, I guess so" I said, really unsure about the question.

"Well if you ever get worried just call us" Katie said.

"Yea we'll always be here for y-" Lindsey said, but she was cut off by someone.

A guy (who I thought was real cute) came towards us.

"Um, sorry to bother you, but could you help me look for my locker?" The boy said.

"Yea sure just uh give me a sec, k? I said.

"Oh ok" the boy said shyly.

"Oh sorry Ashley, my mom wants me to get home" Lindsey said.

"And I gotta go with her"Katie said jumping in.

"Oh alright, ttyl then?" I asked

"Yup" they both answered.

"K" I said.

They left and I was stuck with the cute guy. To be honest I was kinda happy that they had to go, because I'm stuck with the cute guy now!

"Alright now we can go find your locker" I said.

"Ok" he answered.

"So what number is it?" I asked.

"Um it doesn't give the exact number but it gives me a range" he said and showed me a piece of paper. It said '300-350'.

"Oh" I said. "Then let's start looking" I said.

I was actually kinda happy that the range was 300-350 because my locker is in that range!
Since I was in that range I knew where to look.

"Follow me" I said.

I went in front of him and started walking. I looked back and he was trailing behind. He looked at me and I smiled.

"What's your name?" I asked shyly.

"Dylan" he answered low. "What's yours?" He asked.

"Ashley" I said.

"That's a pretty name" he said.

I blushed. "Thanks" I said.
"Ok here we are" I said. "Lockers 300-350".

He looked at me. He just stood and looked at me. There was an awkward silence. Then he broke it.

"How do you know where the lockers are?" He asked. "Most people didn't know where they were".

"Well my locker is also here" I said low.

"Oh" he said

"Yea". I said.
"Now let's go find your locker!"

"Ok" he replied
