"Ugh do I have to?"
I huffed. When the police woman had eventually persuaded me to get in the car, I put my earphones in again, but this time listening to "Perfect Two" because that was mine and my Mum's favourite song ever. I wish she was still here to help me. The police car sped away from my house and straight to the police station. I never knew how 'fancy' this police station looked. It was very modern with windows everywhere apart from the prison - obviously. So you could basically see what was happening in there. It felt like it had been 12393485893129923 hours since I'd been sitting inside there.
"Thank god the paper work is finally done...ugh"
I sighed whilst I watched the police woman slowly walk over to me. I was sitting on a comfy, blue chair which felt like a brick but somewhat comfy. After about 2 and a half hours the police woman had finally told me that all the paperwork had been done, and since there was nobody in my family left to look after me, she said exactly this...
"Miss Hailey Louise Williams, we are pleased to tell you that the paper work has now finished but unfortunately, since there is nobody left in your family to keep you, sadly you will have to go to an orphanage."
Being told that is like the worst thing ever. Like ever.
So since there was 'nobody' (I knew loads of people who could of had me, like my Nan and Grandad or my best friend. Not that hard is it POLICE?) to have me, I had to go to an orphanage...Great...But at least I could finally be safe. We got into the spotless police car and I buckled up my seatbelt onto the leather chairs - behind the bars of the front seats.
The police woman turned around and started talking a load of rubbish saying "Oh Hailey you will be fine" and "It won't be that bad c'mon..". I just ignored her and shoved the earphones in my ears and chose a song which would cheer me up any day - "Last First Kiss".
It was still raining and the car kept bouncing into the massive puddles and the huge potholes in the road. I felt like I was on a roller coaster in this car, it was going that fast and that quick in the potholes.
