Dominic's POV

What.... A weird family.....

I thought to myself.

Smiling, I walked behind Andrew as we walked to school.

Carrying my skateboard with one hand, I punched in Charlotte's number.

Pressing my phone against my ear, she picked her phone up.

" 'Lo?"

She said into her phone.

"Char? It's me."

"Oh, Nic. You fine?"

"Yeah, thanks. I'm just here to tell you that I'm going to school now."

There was a pause on the phone.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah."

There was another pause on the phone.

"Hey Dominic..... That boy... Andrew? Does he..... Like you?"

I blushed bright red, and stared at Andrew, who looked like he was minding his own business.

(Note: looked like he was minding his own business)

"W-wha?! W-we're just friends-"

"Nic, stop making excuses and tell me the truth..."

I pouted, my cheeks still pink.

"We're friends. I'm serious."

Am I....?

"...If you say so.... Then....."

I heard giggling in the background, and talking.

"Is that Dominic?!"

"He's so hot...."

"Even boys like him?!"

My eyebrows furrowed as I stopped myself from gagging.

"W-well, gotta go, see ya, Char."

I hung up, and sighed.

We got to school, and we walked up to the classroom, opening the door.

Everyone stared at us.

"Wow... it looks like Andrew has a friend...."

I heard one person mumble.

I placed my note on the teacher's desk, nodding to her.

She smiled at me.

Apparently I was her favorite student or something.

Heading to my seat, after what seemed like a couple minutes, the bell for lunch rang.

I looked up toward Andrew's desk, which was empty.

I stood up, taking my backpack and my skateboard and started to walk down the hallways, when I heard talking in one of the empty classrooms.

The door was open, but I didn't peek in, because I knew exactly who one of the voices belonged to.

Andrew.

I leaned against the wall next to the classroom, eavesdropping on their conversation.

"Hey, you're Andrew right?"

"...What do you want?!"

"I'm Ethan, and I'm actually a grade lower than you..... Andrew Senpai."
