IT

It's almost 12 midnight, yet I'm still here lying in my bed, eyes wide awake. Staring at the white ceiling while thoughts are compiling. Sighing. I close my eyes for a moment thinking that it would drift me off to sleep, then, I saw myself running in a vast garden came into my mind. I was taking a lot of turns, there were dead ends, feels like I was trapped in a maze. I kept on running like someone was after me and still no matter how many turns I do, I could not find the exit. Then I saw a warning carved in an old dead tree saying 'RUN OR THAT THING WILL FIND YOU!' Once I have red the warning plate, taking the left turn I could see not far away; Finally, an exit. I hurried up, a little more and I could finally be out of this horrible maze. I've put all of my remaining energy to be able to reach the exit. I ran and ran, there is a thin golden line which I could tell that that was really the exit and just 5 more steps further and I'm already out.

Once I was already out of the maze, I was thinking about who that THING was. I turned my back and there at the exit I saw a shadow standing still. I could see that it isn't trying to come at me maybe because of that golden line.

I stared at the shadow, then suddenly it smiled! It was a creepy smile. Its smile was very big with a sharp dirty yellow teeth. Its eyes were bloodlust red. It was like, that thing was craving for me, it looked like it was yearning for me. "We'll see again each other soon. We'll be together again." As it said that, he then disappears from my sight.

I wake up in so much sweat. It was just a dream, just a dream. I lifted my eyes to the cross hanging on the plain empty white wall. "What does it mean I wonder."

Suddenly, something in the dark corner caught my attention. I saw it again, is this a dream too? Why is it here? I stood up and was about to go to that... That Thing! But it suddenly vanished leaving that creepy smile in my head like a scar that cannot undo.

I then started to shout aloud that the nurses came in and 2 nurses got a hold of me, "Calm down, ma'am. It's going to be okay." The nurse said to me as she gives an order to one of them to get the sleeping pills. It's the only thing that would calm me down.

They made me sit down on the corner of my bed. I was quiet. The brunette nurse kneeled down at took a look face and asked, "What's wrong?" But I remained quiet.

The brunette nurse then started to tremble, then was violently shaken. The guy nurse got a hold of her then turned to looked at me. Wide terrified shock in his eyes. I stood up, then inch by inch slowly walking towards them.

There, I smiled so wide with the same dirty sharp teeth and red bloodlust eyes. Now craving for flesh. Sliced their throats and from head to toe, I ate it.

That 'it' in my dream was me. I kept it locked inside me, afraid of what will happen. But now, I'm accepting it. In fact, I love it!

So then, I turned to go to the door outside my room. Slowly slaughtering all of the staff.
