Enemy Fire

The walls shaken bent and crumbling,

Shot and Shot but they refuse to budge.

When the fire ceses, and the smoke clears,

The once great structure TALL, and mighty, is left to crumble,

But its bricks dare not move.

The enemy returns to the shaking walls,

The sound of the hateful shots return,

They won't stop till satisfied.

Not till they watch it fall.

Shots from the inside,

They don't know they fired.

The impact is worse.

When the smoke clears,

what's left standing is stronger than

Ever before.
