After Fred left I started to unpack my things. I started with my clothes, I walk to the large walk in wardrobe with my suitcase and start, after I was finished with my clothes I put my stuff in the bathroom and set out my laptop and books on the shelves. When I finished I had half an hour left till dinner so I decided to put up all my photos and read.
I started to get tired so I put my book away and laid on my bed looking out the big window on my right. I hear a sort know on the door but ignore it, i was too tired to get up and answer it. After the third round of knocking the door opened I didn't turn to look at who it was but all I could hear was a range of different whispers. "Should we wake her?" One of them asks, "oh no, never wake up a girl especially a teen girl they are cranky human beings" another said, "well she can't just not eat" the same voice from the start said. "Boys, just leave her alone she has been through enough let her sleep" i hear Fred say and they all leave my room.
~~~
I don't remember much of what happened last night all I remember is a bunch of whispering at my door and then falling asleep. It is my second day here and it is tenant he morning, normally I would go training on Sparks but I don't know if he is here yet, I miss him so much.
I hear a gentle knock on the door I decide to get up this time and answer. In front of me stand Fred with a smile on his face, "someone told me that you usually go out training at this time and I was wondering if you would like to go see Sparks he just arrived a couple hours ago" he tells me and I look at him in excitement and run to my wardrobe and get changed. When I get back to the door he is no longer there but he left a note saying that Sparks is outside waiting for me.I run down the stairs and straight outside ignoring everyone who passes by me, they must think I'm a freak but I have to see Sparks he is like the only family I have left. As I run through the house to the entrance there is a series of 'what the's and screams but it didn't bother me. I finally get to the door and walk out to see my beautiful horse, he is all saddled up lime Fred said. I slowly walk up to him not wanting to scare him, when I am next to him I hug his neck and he rubs his head into my chest showing his affection, i rub behind his ears and strike his mane, I see a helmet strapped on the saddle so I take isn't and place it on adjusting it a bit. The stirrups were already down so I jump on and turn to the door to see a group of guys and Fred looking good at me in astonishment, i look over to Fred giving him a questioning look he understood " there is a arena behind the stable where you can train and there are a few trails down the road don't get lost" i nod acknowledging what he just said and start to gallop down the road to one of the trails.
~~~
I finally get back and take Sparks into the stables, i see a stall with his name and presume that it is his so I walk him in and start to unpack tack him and give him water and food.
I slowly walk into the kitchen listening to the guys and Fred talk
"does she speak?"
"Yes but she barely does, right now I don't think she trusts anyone let alone want to speak"
"Is she okay? Why is she staying with us ?"
"She is fine and her parents just died and her father and I were best friends we used to spend summers together but I guess she forgot"
"Why hasn't she eaten and who is the horse ?"
"She only just got here and I guess she wasn't hungry and the horse is hers, she is a national world famous show jumper she is amazing"
I decide instead of eavesdropping I should just walk in, I take a deep breath and finally enter, all the people turn to me and i decide I can't do this and run to my room locking the door behind me. I run into the wardrobe and lean on the door slowly falling to the ground pulling my legs up to my chin and close my eyes.
