Part 1: Falling in love

Chapter 1

MAE'S POV

I live in London, but I'm a pure Filipino. My parents are also pure Filipino, because of our business we have to stay for a few years here. My parents bought an apartment near my school, since I'm already 19 I can live on my own. I packed my things and move to the apartment. One week passed. I visited the park.

I saw this guy walking at the park after class, with kissable lips, brown eyes matches his light brown hair. Our school was near the park so I usually hangout around and sit at the bench
on my favorite part of the park, beside th cherry blossoms.

Every night I keep thingking about this guy. Who is this guy making me feel this way?. I feel like I'm falling apart when I saw him. I can't even understang how I feel when I look in his eyes full of joy. He always sat next to the bench where I was sitting. Whoo! My heart is beating so fast. I decided to walk away to stop this feeling before I make myself a fool. I have to stop myself, I need to control myself.

"He is so cute", I said in a low voice while walking away from him. I was sure that he didn't heard me.
"Miss, have you seen a lady with a black hair. Long enough to reach her shoulder?", he asked.
I need to answer him. "No, I did not. Why did you ask Mr.?", I told him while facing to another direction. I can't look in his wonderful eyes.
"I just thought that maybe you saw my mother here. By the way I'm Jasper Valdez. You are?" He said.
"Ahhh okay, Well, I'm Mae Vilaflor", I answered him.
"Teka, meaning your a Filipino?. I'm also a Filipino. Haaaaaaay!, salamat at may nakita akong kadugo ko.", he said.
"Oo, nga sige nice meeting you Jasper, where do you live?", I asked with a smile.
"Just near the school", he told me while pointing besid my apartment, I was so shocked, same time happy?.
"Beside your apartment is my apartment?", I told him.
He smiled and said yes. He explained to me that he already knew that I was the owner of the apartment beside his, because he caught me going out to buy snacks. He also explained that we were also enrolled at the same school. I was shocked.

After that scene, when we went home, when I entered the apartment. Sinasampal ko ang sarili ko "Tadhana plano mo ba ito?". Since friends na kami, we were starting to get closer. Binibisita na niya ako sa apartment ko, ako din binibisita ko siya, lagi akong nagdadala ng guitar. Mahilig kasi ako sa music siya din may guitar, at mahilig din sa music. Kaya madalas kami mag duet.
Alam din niya kung ano ang paborito kung pagkain, binibili niya 'yon pag napadaan siya sa cafe, binibili niya para sa akin, comfort food ko eh.

Love talaga ang hirap na kalaban.
