Am I really that childish?
I guess someone has to be....in a place like this
I think to myself as the carriage continues along its route.
"Oi, what's wrong with you idiot?" Levi asks, snapping me out of my deep thoughts.
I stare at him blankly before shaking my head and then faking a smile.
"Oh it's nothing! I'm fine" I say smiling brightly.
Levi narrows his eyes and silently moves to the other side of the carriage while staring at me intently.
"nice try idiot but you can't fool me with that, was it something I said?" He presses, in a slightly more irritated tone of voice.
"Levi....?" I question, blinking in surprise.....before I noticed it.
That gleam in his eyes.....I think to myself.....that emotion, he only does that when he's.....
"What is it?" Levi narrows his eyes suspiciously...
Here it is, time to take a gamble...
Without missing a beat, and without averting my attention from his eyes..I say what could have single handedly been the biggest mistake of my life...
"You care for me don't you? The worry...I can see it in your eyes" I raise an eyebrow, waiting for his excuse.
But instead I find the actions the corporal chose to be quite surprising...
Levi's eyes widen and he turns away almost directly after I said it...
The next few minutes are silent, until he finally decides to break them....
"Tch, so what if I do?"
